An astounding bit of fraud.

Hillary Clinton Campaign Systematically Overcharging Poorest Donors (http://observer.com/2016/09/exclusive-hillary-clinton-campaign-systematically-overcharging-poorest-donors/)

https://i.snag.gy/FHgNeS.jpg
Hillary for America processed a total of $94 in unauthorized charges to Carol Mahre’s US Bank account. This follows a pattern in which unwitting donors are charged multiple times, but always for a total of less than $100, which is a key trigger point for banks’ internal action systems.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign is stealing from her poorest supporters by purposefully and repeatedly overcharging them after they make what’s supposed to be a one-time small donation through her official campaign website, multiple sources tell the Observer.

The overcharges are occurring so often that the fraud department at one of the nation’s biggest banks receives up to 100 phone calls a day from Clinton’s small donors asking for refunds for unauthorized charges to their bankcards made by Clinton’s campaign. One elderly Clinton donor, who has been a victim of this fraud scheme, has filed a complaint with her state’s attorney general and a representative from the office told her that they had forwarded her case to the Federal Election Commission.

...The source said that pornography companies often deploy a similar arrangement pull. “We see this same scheme with a lot of seedy porn companies,” the source said. The source also notes that the dozens of phone calls his department receives daily are from people who notice the fraudulent charges on their statements. “The people who call us are just the ones who catch the fraudulent charges. I can’t imagine how many more people are getting overcharged by Hillary’s campaign and they have no idea.”

...Roger, who is an attorney, told the Observer that he called the Clinton campaign dozens of times in April and early May in an attempt to resolve the issue. “It took me at least 40 to 50 phone calls to the campaign office before I finally got ahold of someone,” Roger said. “After I got a campaign worker on the phone, she said they would stop making the charges.”

Incredibly, the very next day, Carol’s card was charged yet again and the campaign had never reversed the initial fraudulent charges. “I was told they would stop charging my mother’s card but they never stopped.”

...

I have yet to find another source for corroborating evidence.

Wait a minute Chris.

Were you hoping that your link wouldn't be opened?

Well, I opened it. And what is the first sentence that I read? Wells Fargo fraud department inundated with calls?

Has some republican tied two stories together in the hope that Wells Fargo didn't practice fraud on it's poorest customers, middle of the road customers and rich customers, to the tune of millions of dollars annually?

It's typical of conservative to try hiding the fraud of one by claiming fraud by another. You certainly have the Trump mantle of deceit by inference.

Uhoh, KARE 11 Investigates: Unauthorized charges by Clinton campaign? (http://www.kare11.com/news/investigations/kare-11-investigates-unauthorized-charges-by-clinton-campaign/229158541)

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. – A Minnesota woman and her son claim Hillary Clinton’s campaign is making unauthorized charges to her credit card, and in spite of dozens of calls to the campaign, they can’t get it to stop.

“I always did vote democrat,” said 81-year-old Carol Mahre of Maplewood as she burst into laughter. “It’s not a laughing matter,” she added “but it’s better than crying about it.”

What has the widow and former MN election judge deciding between laughter and tears is the string of charges to her credit card made by “Hillary For America” - Hillary Clinton’s election campaign.

“I thought oh what the hell I’ll give them $25,” she told KARE 11. “You know I’m not rich, so I sent them $25 and then they started just taking it out,” said Mahre as she described donating on the official Clinton campaign website back in March.

She says she intended to make a one-time donation, but when her credit card bill arrived she discovered repeated charges.

“They took out $100 more than what I donated,” she said.

...Fed up after making what he estimates were 100 phone calls to the campaign over a period of several days, Roger filed a fraud report with the Minnesota Attorney General’s office and asked KARE 11 for assistance.

...On May 27, KARE 11 emailed the Hillary Clinton press account. Six days later, there’s been no response. KARE investigative reporter A.J. Lagoe also tweeted to Hillary for America’s Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri and Press Secretary Brian Fallon. They’ve also failed to respond.

...

Turns out that is the source of the Observer piece which credited it here: "At that point, Roger decided to contact his local news and filed a fraud complaint with Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson’s office on behalf of his mother. After local TV news Kare 11 ran a story, someone from U.S. Bank contacted Roger the next day and said that they had reversed and stopped the charges to his mother’s card."

We don't. It's been reported, it's been posted, the story is developing. Therefore you also don't know if it's true or false. Shouting BULLSHIT doesn't make it so.

I don't think it would matter to many Clinton supporters. They'd rationalize it away.
