Hillary Clinton truly shined last night during the first presidential debate. Sixty percent of voters agree that she won the debate! I was overwhelmed with Clinton's ability to share with Americans her knowledge of the issues while at the same time keeping her calm and poise. Job well done!

(CNN)Hillary Clinton was deemed the winner of Monday night's debate by 62% of voters who tuned in to watch, while just 27% said they thought Donald Trump had the better night, according to a CNN/ORC Poll of voters who watched the debate (http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2016/images/09/27/poll.pdf).

That drubbing is similar to Mitt Romney's dominant performance over President Barack Obama in the first 2012 presidential debate.Voters who watched said Clinton expressed her views more clearly than Trump and had a better understanding of the issues by a margin of more than 2-to-1. Clinton also was seen as having done a better job addressing concerns voters might have about her potential presidency by a 57% to 35% margin, and as the stronger leader by a 56% to 39% margin.

READ: The complete full CNN/ORC poll results (http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2016/images/09/27/poll.pdf)

The gap was smaller on which candidate appeared more sincere and authentic, though still broke in Clinton's favor, with 53% saying she was more sincere vs. 40% who felt Trump did better on that score. Trump topped Clinton 56% to 33% as the debater who spent more time attacking their opponent.

And, just how many "changed" votes do think occurred because of that?

No one changed their mind after this debate. Neither candidate attracted any new support.

Fail...

...Time.com survey had the Republican nominee leading Clinton by 4 percentage points – 52 percent to 48 percent – after more than 1,300,000 votes were cast. CNBC and Breitbart votes also had Trump winning the event, at New York’s Hofstra University.

I think Hillary looked a little better overall from an appearance stand point.

Trump started weaving around too much instead of short simple and sweet.

She sounded like every politician I have ever heard and he pointed that out. That is a problem this go around, we will find out how much real soon.

Overall not that big of a deal.

It will become a big deal if Trump doesn't come out and show more poise during the next debate.

The next debate wont be moderated by someone who will give either of them a break.

Don't spoil their fun; they still think they are winning. Forget the 2010 midterms. Forget the loss of the Senate in 2014. Forget that 2/3rds of all state houses are controlled by Republicans. They won a consecutive Presidential election by golly and that means they are winning...forget that Bush II did the same thing. :biglaugh:

According to conservative pundits, Trump won.

I mean, go figure.

I didn't watch, ultimately we will see if there's a bump in the polls. Of course, those seem to be biaaed too.
