"Trump purchased the aluminum used in the Chicago project for what is called the “curtain wall”—the glass and metal exterior designed to save energy. The wall is made with 11,500 panels of thermal pane glass encased in aluminum. Each of the panels is 6 feet, 3 inches, meaning they used 207,000 feet of aluminum; the precise amount of tonnage could not be determined. However, assuming an admittedly light weight of a pound per foot, American companies lost out on more than $350 million in sales."

Lower taxes and reduce regulations and American companies might could compete.

If Trump is on a crusade to bring back American jobs, why didn't he use American metal? He and his family company own this building.

He has no intention of following through on any of his promises.

Neither is able by definition to keep many of their promises. Which is a good thing.

He's preaching to change tax law and rules and regulations so that it isn't necessary to buy and produce products in China in order to save money.

What about that isn't practicing what he preaches?

Whatever you say, bonehead.

He's on a crusade to bring back American jobs by not forcing Americans and American business to pay more for domestic products. If you weren't a dodobird, you'd understand.

But - of course - you own a Japanese TV or car, don't you?

Lie to us now and tell us you don't.

That ranks right up there with family values, and having 3 girlfriends and two wives on the side.

Before we can use our own materials, we need to resume manufacturing those materials.

He built this in America, using American labor and with the best use of Corporation funds.

I've often chosen to buy American only to find the product was made in China.
