Study: Non-Citizens Voting In Virginia By The Hundreds (http://dailycaller.com/2016/10/07/study-non-citizens-voting-in-virginia-by-the-thousands/)

Not a surprise. It has been going on forever.

A study conducted by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) showed that in the key swing state of Virginia voter registration rolls have been tainted with the presence of at least 1000 non-citizens. The PILF study (https://publicinterestlegal.org/files/Report_Alien-Invasion-in-Virginia.pdf), which former DOJ Attorney and J. Christian Adams assisted on (http://www.theacru.org/yes-virginia-aliens-are-registered-or-voting-and-in-pennsylvania-by-the-thousands/), used an eight county sample from the Commonwealth, which did not include the large population centers of Arlington and Fairfax Counties.

The study surfaced in the wake of Andrew Spieles, a young Democrat admitting (http://freebeacon.com/politics/virginia-young-democrat-caught-registering-dead-veteran-vote/) he registered 19 dead people in Harrisonburg, Virginia to vote.

The eight county sample showed that 1,046 non-citizens managed to register to vote and, according to Adams, were only caught because they renewed their driver’s licenses and told the truth about their non-citizenship status.

Is it any wonder why leftists are so opposed to voter ID laws?

They are committing fraud and don't want it to end.

That is why their political opponents must insist on more stringent voting laws, despite the left's preposterous claim that they're somehow "racist".

There is nothing racist about requiring a photo ID to vote. Most so-called "objections to voter ID laws" are nothing of the kind, as has been explained on this very forum several times. They are objections to Republican politicians commissioning studies - usually at taxpayer expense - to see what voting practices - like early voting, straight-ticket voting - certain groups - minorities and students, mainly - utilize, and what forms of ID they are more likely to use...and then WRITING legislation that prohibits or severely restricts those very things.
