This is the latest on RealClear Politics. I just wondered how one poll has Trump 5 up and another Clinton 3 up. Anyone have a clue how it actually is?

LA times has been an outlier poll.for weeks. Look back. That actually haven't changed much at all.

Okay. So it's basically just to close to call. What a nail biter.

The LA Times poll is following a small group of people over time I believe.

Different polls ask different questions in different ways to different people. They're worth maybe a that's interesting.

RCP averages polls, rightly or wrongly, but I prefer that to any single poll.

Trends are more interesting.

The RCP average is about as accurate you can get for a poll, but frankly no polls should be taken as gospel. Only poll that really matters is the final tally on Election Night.

Romney should have taught us that lesson
