View Full Version : Unemployment Plummets to 7.3% -- Romneyroids Looking For New Conspiracy Theory

Latest statistics show unemployment plummeting to 7.3%, putting teabaggers into a tizzy of trying to cook up some new conspiracy theory, a la the senile Jack Welch. This could be the election right here.

Economic facts are not the friends of Romney and the conservatives.

Read the good news and watch the baggers spin and spit here:

Well, 5% would actually call for the word "plummet". The poor sap has so much trouble with language.

Gallup is bullied by the Chicago thugs to have a poll that says unemployment has dropped but only because the Chicago thugs got caught lying on the last unemployment rates out of Washington. Oh, what a tangled web they weave....

It's funny that the labor force participation rate rose by .1% while unemployment dropped by .8%

Must be some of that "new math".

Suddenly Gallup polls have no more credibility.

Which polls claim Romney has a 5% lead?

They obviously have no credibility either, so it's curtains for him.

That's not really the point. As several have pointed out HoJ read a news headline that exaggerated the actual survey by Gallup. If you follow links to Gallup you'll immediately be struck by how they (a) admit it's a survey of only 20000, (b) adjust the 7.3% up to 7.7%, and (c) report as much as a 1 % point possibility of error. So the rate reported could actually be as high as 8.7%. The OP is guilty of reading just a headline, without consideration of facts and logic.

He must have gotten over it by the second debate, otherwise it would have been painful to sit down.

That's why President Bush had unemployment down to 4.6% under his watch.

That was, until the democrat's socialist agenda made it skyrocket up over 10%.

Hey kids let's pretend that Bush didn't end his reign in the biggest recession in 70 years and let's pretend that unemployment isn't a lagging indicater.

Polls are intended to fool the people who read them. Each has it's own agenda. The way the questions are raised more than often dictates the answer.

I can't understand why people consider them to be of such significance when most are later proved to be so inaccurate.
