U.S. unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, is 7.3% in mid-October, down considerably from 7.9% at the end of September and at a new low since Gallup began collecting employment data in January 2010. Gallup's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 7.7%, also down from September. October's adjusted mid-month measure is also more than a percentage point lower than October 2011.

It's all lies anyway ... right? Just Obama Monkeying with the numbers.

I think Darryl Issa should conduct an investigation.

Now, pretend it was a Republican in office. Use the formula that is used then, and then tell us how great we're doing.

Why, Obama's brilliant economic leadership has worked so well that. . .

Overall, welfare spending as measured by obligations has grown from $563 billion in fiscal 2008 to $746 billion in fiscal 2011, or a jump of 32 percent.

Cigar, we know that you are very challenged when it comes to understanding math and statistics. For example, you don't seem to understand the difference between a lost, full time job with benefits versus an ObamaJob part timer, often at little more than minimum wage, hardly ever with any benefits. Those phonied up unemployment numbers don't include all those folks who have quit looking nor do they include all those folks who have lost full time jobs and are now trying to survive with part time jobs.

For that reason, when it comes to REAL employment, the U6 figure is the one to watch. And it says 14.7 percent UNCHANGED.

Please, try and learn something about employment numbers and which ones matter before you embarass yourself further here by trying to post on a topic you obviously don't understand. I realized that in your universe of "equal opportunity" set aside government contracting, the idea that many of your fellow Americans can't find a real, full time job is unreal to you.

But, little boy, it is very, very real to them and their families. And BTW, your fellow black folks have really taken it on the chin while Mr. Obama and Mr. Bernake have bailed out the wall street and bankster criminals with their porkulus bills and money printing to buy mostly worthless paper. Please be sure and thank Mr. Obama for doing such a great job of taking care of the one percent.
