Looks like the Senate wants to start off with Censuring the UN.....then lets pull their funding. Then make them pay for protection.

Congressional Republicans are moving swiftly to denounce the United Nations Security Council’ recent action toward Israel, with GOP lawmakers in both chambers preparing to introduce disapproval resolutions aimed at the United Nations as soon as the new Congress convenes.

Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), will introduce a “sense of the Senate” resolution next week disapproving of the Security Council's condemnation of Israeli settlement-building in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, a source familiar with the matter said on Friday. The resolution is intended to be a companion to the expected House action against the U.N. and could place both chambers at odds with the international body as Congress returns next month.

Several aides in both parties say there are bipartisan discussions about the Senate censuring the U.N. given the outrage over last week’s Israel vote. .....snip~

I was hoping the Chinese would build them an Island out in the Middle of the Atlantic.....somewhere where those waves get like 60 to 100 feet tall.

So you don't believe that Obama collided with others to form the amendment?
That's a change from the normal right response.

Ayep. That's basically the two positions at work - blind support for the UN and blind support for Israel.

EVERY President since LBJ - including President Reagan and GWB - have criticized Israel's building of settlements, and the U.S. delegation to the U.N. has, dozens of times, either voted 'yes' on resolutions critical of Israel, or has abstained from such votes. The Republican response to this latest incident is simply childish and ignorant...which, unfortunately, appears to be their default setting these days. (Follow the Leader?)

Unfortunately, it's not just Republicans. Far too many Democrats are joining them in this foolishness.

Yet it was Chucky Schumer that had to slam BO peep and Kerry while giving them some schooling. Note the learning you forgot.

Betrayal Backlash: Obama, Kerry Slammed and Schooled on Israel By Top Senate Democrat.....

It's not just conservatives who are furious with the Obama administration's shameful betrayal of Israel at the United Nations shortly before Christmas -- a number of leading Democrats are criticizing the move, which lawmakers on both sides of the aisle say further undermines both Israel's security, as well as America's bipartisan pro-Israel consensus. In his long-winded and unproductive speech this week, outgoing Secretary of State John Kerry spent an inordinate amount of time fixating on the issue of Israeli settlements, going out of his way to lambaste the "right-wing" government that Israeli voters have elected:

Now show us where the Palestinians learned what Democracy is about? Show us just where they can say they are standing on Righteous ground.

Fortunately both sides of the aisle have known just what a Biased Institution the UN really is.....so its hardly foolish.
