It has been my experience that when dirty tricks and fraud increase, it is often because the side doing it is panicked.

Based on this it would seem Obama is losing Florida.....

Oops....

ORLANDO, Fla. - Officials in Florida have issued a warning about a new trick trying to prevent voters from going to the polls.
Voters are getting letters that look like they are from local elections offices, questioning their citizenship. But Local 6 has learned the letters are fake, and they are going out across Central Florida and other parts of the state.

I couldn't imagine the honest left wing nuts resorting to such shenanigans.

It has been my experience that Democrats think dirty tricks, fraud, assault, and an "anything to win" attitude is their birthright. And, don't hold your breath on a federal investigation. I would encourage Florida to investigate. This administration supports election fraud and violence. Voter intimidation anyone? Suing states who want to prevent dead people and foreign nationals from voting? A candidate who tells his supporters to seek out the enemy and "get in their face"?

Are you speaking about the alleged voter intimidation against those members from the NBPP that the BUSH ADMIN dropped all criminal charges against?

Or are you speaking of a different one?

You demean yourself.

I agree that placing blame on one party is wrong...but with the trend to meet ever negative comment or story about Obama with "What about Bush? or what about Romney....?:"

It gets really old.

FFS in another forum someone, obviously someone with an IQ of 9, actually equated the attack and beating of a man in Florida over a ficking lawn sign with Tagg Romney's statement that sometimes he'd like to punch Obama....

Now where the fuck is that?

I'm just trying to see if patrickt actually knew the FACTS of what transpired back in 2008.

Fair enough.

I suspect the right had reason to be panicked with Obamamania on the wane...

But going back years is "what about Bush?'

They all do it and no one approves. The fact it's happening in Florida that the Obama campaign has bailed out of Carolina and admitted says something too....

They're in trouble.

Obama look afraid last night, and a lot like my ex when she was premenstral and not getting her way.

Obama is going to lose, and he knows it. I didn't watch the debate last night, just youtube clips this morning.

Here you go, Walter.
"The Department of Justice became aware of the incident on Election Day and started an inquiry. Under the Bush administration, a criminal investigation into the incident was started, but later dropped.[10] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-usccr_perez-9)[11] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-10) Instead, in January 2009, less than two weeks before the Bush administration left office, the civil rights (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Civil_rights) division of the Department of Justice filed a civil suit under the voting rights act (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Voting_rights_act) against four defendants, namely, Minister King Samir Shabazz, Jerry Jackson, NBPP chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Malik_Zulu_Shabazz), and the NBPP itself. The lawsuit accused them of using uniforms, racial insults and a weapon to intimidate voters and those who were there to assist them.[2] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-Career_lawyers_overruled-1) Four career attorneys, Spencer Fisher, Christian Adams (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Christian_Adams), Robert Popper and Christopher Coates (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Christopher_Coates) signed the memo that supported the case against the four defendants.[10] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-usccr_perez-9)[12] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-usccr_adams-11) The case remained open when the Obama administration took office a few weeks later.
In April 2009 Bartie Bull, a former civil rights lawyer who was serving as a poll watcher at the polling station where the incident occurred, submitted an affidavit (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Affidavit) at Justice's request supporting the lawsuit, stating that he considered it to have been the most severe instance of voter intimidation he had ever encountered.[2] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-Career_lawyers_overruled-1)[5] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-Fund2009-4)
When none of the defendants who were charged appeared in court to answer the charges, the career attorneys pursuing the lawsuit assumed that they would win it by default (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Default_judgment). However the career attorneys' move to pursue a default judgment against the defendants was overruled by two of their line superiors, Loretta King (http://thepoliticalforums.com/w/index.php?title=Loretta_King&action=edit&redlink=1) who was acting Assistant Attorney General and Steve Rosenbaum, Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General.[3] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-NYTAdams-2)[10] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-usccr_perez-9)[12] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-usccr_adams-11)
Assistant Attorney General Thomas E. Perez (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Thomas_E._Perez) testified that even though none of the defendants responded to the charges, the Justice Department still had a continuing legal and ethical obligation to ensure that any relief sought was consistent with the law and supported by the evidence. A decision was then made to dismiss the charges against NBPP chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Malik_Zulu_Shabazz), the NBPP and Jerry Jackson. The charge against Minister King Samir Shabazz, the individual who was seen brandishing a nightstick, was maintained but narrowed. The original charge against Minister King Samir Shabazz sought an injunction prohibiting acts of intimidation anywhere in the United States, but the charge was narrowed to apply only within the City of Philadelphia. The Justice Department then sought and obtained a default judgment against King Samir Shabazz. The injunction would prohibit Shabazz from displaying a weapon within 100 feet of a Philadelphia polling place for the next three years.[10]"

Do you understand the difference between CRIMINAL and CIVIL?

Now I ask you, under which admin did the CRIMINAL charges get dropped against the NBPP.

Here's a hint: Hannity, Rush & the other talk radio assclowns are lying to you if they said it was the Obama Admin's AG.

Obama's Admin & AG dropped the CIVIL charges against the NBPP.

Hey, Crackers, you know who you are. You are the white trash that makes it difficult for white people like me, who are progressive and get along fine with Al Sharpton, and have an understanding why the Black Panthers still exist.

Maybe you missed the 60's, and the assassination of JFK, Malcolm X, RFK, and MLK. Maybe you missed getting an education in college, and maybe you have not seen all the film footage of what went on for decades. Maybe you have no understanding of anything, since your anti women, anti gay, anti minority, disposition is so evidently displayed every hour now, thanks to Internet.

It was not as you claim a civil case. There was in fact a CRIMINAL investigation and case which was also dropped.

Just as the CIVIL rights case was.

Doing as Minister King Samir Shabazz, and the NBPP etc... itself did, is called voter intimidation, as well as possession of firearms and weapons at a polling location which are indeed criminal offenses, which lead to criminal charges.

Do you understand the difference between an Obama lie and the truth....obviously not.

And, moving on, another lovely socialist. Anti-woman? Like Bill Maher who finds "****" and "twat" hilarious. Like the White House that pays women less but whines. Well, whining. Poor Sandra Fluke has to pay a dollar a month for birth control. Poor thing. And, a President who lies to keep abortions funded by taxpayers.

Oh, and the progressive's take on minorities. They don't need a quality education because what would they do with it. A union-managed system that benefits progressive politicians first, unions second, teachers third, and minority students not at all is fine for "them". And jobs. They don't need jobs. Massa Progressive will give them enough to get by as long as they stay in the slave shacks. If they try to break out, they'll find the progressive and the other minorities pulling them back. And, you get to sit with your friends and giggle about them and their obama phones. Oh, them poor minorities. We got to help them.

Sorry, Grumpy, but being a mean-spirited, dishonest, and hate-filled progressive is nothing to be proud of.
And I can understand why there is the NBPP, too. They hate as much as progressives do. Of course, when the progressive keep telling minorities the American dream is dead and then do everything in their power to see that there is no upward mobility, it does get frustrating.

And, having the federal government probe election fraud in Florida is like putting rats in charge of security on the corn crib.
