"Our mission is to ensure that JesusWeen becomes a global phenomenon. We have and will continue to share the word of God in love and by doing that, we seek to encourage a culture whereby Christians, regardless of their denomination, reach out to the world around them with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ."

"In 2002, Pastor Paul Ade requested 300 copies of New Testament pocket size Bibles from the Bible Society to use for personal evangelism. A few days before Halloween, a word came to Pastor Paul to give out bibles to both kids and adults knocking at his door expecting candy. On that day over 40 bibles were given out without him stepping out of his house. All it took was putting a bible into every bag as they opened each bag with a smile. It was much easier than expected and since then God kept on talking to Pastor Paul about how to help Gods people make use of the “Go Ye” instruction every October 31st and on major public holidays."

I celebrate Los Dias de Muertos. It's my favorite Mexican holiday. It coincides, roughtly, with Halloween but it's really more like Thanksgiving with dead people coming to dinner.

As a kid, when I got home after several hours of trick-or-treating, I would dump my full, heavy bag out in the middle of the living room floor and gloat over my loot. If I expected a box of Milk Duds or a Milky Way bar and got a Bible instead, I woulda been PISSED.

When I lived in the U.S. I greeted the neighborhood kids with glee, waved at their fathers at the end of the drive, and handed out good candy. Older kids who were escorting their younger siblings were greeting nicely, too. After that batch finished I started getting the immigrants. The folks from California who had bought "ranchettes" out in the country and were bringing their kids to the first subdivision on the edge of the city. We actually had traffic jams from these folks. But, I don't believe the sins to the parents should be visited on the kids even if they are from California. They got candy and a greetings, too.
But, kids who had a better mustache than I had or who showed up at the door with a cigarette going or a can of beer in the hand got neither candy nor a pleasnt greeting. I realize that extortion is a way of life for people on the left but teaching kids that extortion is good is, in my opinion, a bad practice. My kids quit "trick or treating" when they were ten and eleven respectively and helped hand out candy to the little kids.
