"Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald says Democrats have adopted a "Cold War McCarthyite kind of rhetoric" by accusing many its critics of having ties to Russia. "It’s sort of this constant rhetorical tactic to try and insinuate that anyone opposing the Clintons are somehow Russian agents, when it’s the Clintons who actually have a lot of ties to Russia, as well," Greenwald said. "I mean, the Clinton Foundation and Bill Clinton helped Russian companies take over uranium industries in various parts of the world. He received lots of Russian money for speeches." - Source (https://www.democracynow.org/2016/8/31/a_new_mccarthyism_greenwald_on_clinton)

"Since the election, both parties have responded by going even farther to the right, Trump by surrounding himself with billionaires and ultra-right fanatics and the Democrats by trying to out-hawk the GOP." - Source (https://consortiumnews.com/2017/02/17/democrats-liberals-catch-mccarthyistic-fever/)

I made the mistake of voting for Obama in 2008. By the end of 2009, I completely dropped the democrats/liberals who blindly followed Obama's warmongering ways. Sanders provided some hope but with his support for Hillary, the sell-out was complete. The democrats became every inch the jingoistic party that the republicans are. More over, they have also become as intolerant, judgemental, argumentative and truculent as the republicans ever were.

I want no part of this republicrat duopoly where "Party before country" is the norm.

One of the biggest reasons I voted for Trump was because I could not accept Hillary's pro-war attitude toward Syria, and Russia, by extension. I hope Trump doesn't go off half-cocked but I've come to realize that it is the nature of the beast.

The democrats (some) are definitely reviving Cold War rhetoric and nothing good can come of it.

Its about time that someone starts taking it to the Democrats over the Russians.

Greenwald should know that from the Panama Papers that it was brought out that John Podesta and his brother was helping the Russians get around BO peeps sanctions. That Podesta bought stock in a Russian Company and then put the whole deal in his daughters name.

Moreoever.....it was Hillary and her people that gave up breaches to the Russians. Which allowed them to penetrate the State Dept. Then later it came out that the Russians hacked the WH thru State Dept computers. Then they breached the Pentagon.

What needs to be investigated is the fact that Hillary and her people are compromised. Whoever they contact the Russians ended up breaching. Like the DCCC, Hillary's Campaign, Any Demos or Repubs that Hillary was communicating with.

Stop the Demos from pointing the fingers at anybody else. Its time for them to take responsibility for allowing Hillary the fuck up to get away with the BS. Anytime that bitch opens her mouth. She should be confronted with what she and her people allowed to take place. By doing whatever they wanted to.

Hillary compromised the entire upper levels of the US government. She compromised damn near all of the Demo Party. Of course, Johnny Quest McCain and Lindsey Graham who was in contact with Hillary. Which doesn't count donors and people she was in contact with overseas.

This would include allies.

Try focusing on what Greenwald is saying about the Clintons, the Demos and the Russians. As he isn't talking about that BS you came up with about Repubs.

Too late. He and the military are planning on sending ground troops in Syria. He still supports the #1 financier of terrorists around the world, Saudi Arabia. War in Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen continue unabated while hundreds more, innocent men, women and children die. I cannot support him and his honeymoon is over with me. He is as every bit as underhanded and filthy as Obama was.

What a load of BS, Trump is engaging in McCarthyism but the knuckleheads are easily swayed by the iconoclastic dipshit Greenwald. he reminds me of the spoiled child who gets what he wants, but is so spoiled nothing satisfies. And folks Trump is trying hard to manage media as all petty tyrants do. But give him credit, the weak and insecure right wing in America needed a savior to lead them and Trump played their tune. You go guys, follow along now....

Yeah yeah.....you just tell Hillary everytime she opens that pie hole of hers about the Russians. She takes one step closer to that 9 by 7 cell she deserves to be in.

Well he just screwed up in a big time way. As he needs to call Jonny Quest into the Oval Office and tell that putz just what does he think he is doing?

Commander-in-Chief? McCain Makes Secret Trip to Syria to Assess Ground Troops.....

Sen. John McCain of Arizona made a secret trip to northern Syria last weekend to assess U.S forces and discuss tactics for defeating ISIS, his office said on Wednesday.

U.S. officials say McCain traveled to Kobani, a Syrian town on the Turkish border controlled by Kurdish forces, according to the Wall Street Journal (https://www.wsj.com/articles/mccain-makes-secret-trip-to-syria-in-midst-of-u-s-assessment-1487795458).

"Senator McCain's visit was a valuable opportunity to assess dynamic conditions on the ground in Syria and Iraq," the press release reads. He also educated the forces deployed there and discussed "the counter-ISIL campaign and ongoing operations to retake Raqqa.”

McCain has been the lead Republican opponent of President Donald Trump since before the primary season in 2015. At nearly every turn McCain has voiced his displeasure with the executive office......snip~

McCain to assess dynamic conditions on the ground????? Its clear that most of the country doesn't know what Johnny was in the military before he became a labeled War Hero. Other than being the Admirals son.

The OP is correct. You are incorrect.

i love loser posts like this, it goes to show you what a loser certain posters can be. Any entrepanuer that starts multiple business will fail some. We have set up our society to encourage this behavior. Take a shot at the dream. There is not a lot of things better than one can do than create a job for someone else. You can pick at Trump for things all you want and may be valid in points. But this is childish BS..

This is one here is a straw man short sighted loserville argument. Robert Reich is a complete piece of shit and can go fuck his arrogant self in the @$$. He thinks he is an economic genius because he was in office for the perfect storm just like like Bill Clinton. The combination of the tech bubble and the balanced budget rammed down their throats was a perfect storm. Made them look great but they were just short term riders like all of us before it crashed as they left office. Oh but do they lie about what great economists there were. Wanna know how good they were? They lost the house and senate for the first time in 40 years.

Pick on on something real Rober and Midcan. Don't pick at the business men who risks capital to start business. Some you win some you lose. Thank God for all of them.

You you are a joke along with RR. I take this personally because I too risk significant amounts of money to employ people. Hate for real reasons.
