It was for her incessant, habitual lying. I think news organizations decided to un-ban her because her lies are so entertaining. What's more entertaining are the verbal gymnastics she does to avoid the truth. She's a pro.

If she were a pro she would be able to distract and pivot without looking like a moron. She is doing her job, she's just doing it really, really badly. Even Spicey has more skills when it comes to speaking to the press, even if SNL has roasted him pretty good.

She's going up against some very smart people, like Tapper. I find it impressive since, unlike Spicer, she doesn't have a script and she has less control of the situation as a guest. I can't stand her, but I am amazed at how well she distorts events, avoids truths, pivots, and steers the conversation. She reminds me of a magician where she does things so naturally and quickly that they're easy to miss.


But some of her tricks are less impressive. For example, there's an old political tactic to not answer the question that was asked, but answer the question you wished was asked. I guess it doesn't take much intellect to do this.



One thing that Spicer does better than Conway is to make statements with authority. He literally yells at the WH press members and tells them what to report. Conway is more passive, and has even resorted to playing the victim when questioned.
