Why are all these sane Republicans coming out of the woodwork all of a sudden?

Bob Crowder, the Republican who ran against Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) in the primary, announced Wednesday that he is endorsing Democrat Patrick Murphy in the congressional race. And he didn't mince his words.

“As a Republican for over 30 years, I'm embarrassed by the radical fringe that has taken over the party. Sadly, Allen West is their poster child, and the hateful, divisive comments he's made throughout this campaign make it clear to me he’s the wrong choice for our district,” Crowder said in a statement.

Crowder, who is the Martin County Sheriff, said he is backing Murphy because "he has the right temperament and respect for others -- including people he doesn't agree with."

Crowder said Murphy can work with both parties and will be a congressman that Florida's 18th District can be proud of, "unlike his opponent."

and 12 major news papers who endorsed Obama in 2008 now endorse Romney in 2012... http://www.mittromney.com/blog/newspaper-endorsements-mitt-romney-president

Clearly you have someone who was hurt that he didn't get picked. The voters got it right he is not a true Republican.

A true republican as a true democrat supports the winner of the Primary even if they didn't win it. Hillary Clinton put her support behind Obama in 2007. Newt, Cain, and Santorum all have supported Romney. You see this often at the local level people get hurt so they try and hurt them back.

there are republicans having "coming to Jesus" momments right now.

Take a deep look into Christys eyes the next time you see him talk.

He has seen something that made his gut change.

He will NEVER be the same.

He now knows without a doubt this country needs each other to survive.

He has looked into the eyes of too many good people who have done nothing wrong and are suffering very deeply.

He will NEVER be able to be a meatsack again.

He now KNOWS why compassion is why any society survives.

maybe he will lead the once proud republican party Back from hell

Truthmatters I could not agree more we need someone to bring us together like Romney did as Governor. Not like Obama who refuses to even meet with Republicans in the House and Senate unless he has to. Even Clinton had weekly meetings with Republicans.
