LOL, just got this email from OC Weekly.

APC is the biggest MMD in Orange County. Very high-end in service and quality, and moderately priced in terms of flower. I've never been to a 420 party, but this sounds like it might be fun. I might actually have some 80s business wear somewhere in storage.

LOL, note the start time.

MMD=medical marijuana dispensary?

Free samples?

Isn't that akin to CVS handing out oxycodone samples?

$#@!ing potheads...

Did you ever get the taste of those moldy gym socks out of your mouth, from being stuffed in the lockers every day by those potheads?

Have another martini.

hmmmm.... thinking.

Not nearly as dangerous as oxy, and a lot cheaper, so no, not the same.

Codeine or flexoril then. Same principal.

They're not even pretending to look legit anymore.

All those you name are prescription drugs. So is medical weed... technically... but the prescription methodology is different. The doctor sells you a piece of paper that registers you with the state, which you keep, and show at the dispensary each time. It's an "open" prescription that says, in effect, a doctor says you need weed, but is leaving what weed you use up to you.

Which theoretically makes sense, as there are so freaking many strains of weed, and it could take months before you find the best strain for your problem (like my wife with Harle-Tsu).

Yeah, it is actually a fairly transparent bit of fakery, but it keeps everyone in the bureaucracies happy.

And even if transparent fakery as far as actual stoners, I do see a lot of people with obvious pain or other issues.

Wut?

OC Weekly has been an Official Thorn in the side of the establishment for some years now. They ask Difficult Questions, seem to have accurate sources inside many organizations, and have several heads of ego-bloated officials they can hang in their trophy room. As for legit, lol, how legit can you be when your main income sources are ads for titty bars, massage parlors, and escorts?

APC... well, rumor has it that the owner is family-connected in some way with someone high up in either the Anaheim police department or the city government. I do know for a fact that they have never been raided. So... legit?

I didn't mean they aren't legitimate. I just mean they used to try to look more ... I'll say professional.

it isn't "technically" a prescription drug in the states that have legalized it for medical use. It IS a prescription drug. Acting as if it isn't can only hurt the cause.
