I'll be very disappointed, say I got it (my prediction) wrong, and NOT riot like some ignorant no-spelling mofo's are threatening to do.

I want to take a page out of the Commiecrat strategy book, tell you all I am going to do what the left has been threatening to do to Romney if he wins, but I'm too much of a patriot to even go there. Obama is still my president, and I respect him for that (Even if ONLY for that!), and I don't see how anyone who wants to vote in an election and dabble in politics could even talk about doing such a rotten thing just because they're 7 years old and didn't get their way.

Honestly if Mitt Romney loses: I'll probably come on here, fill out a nice, long, profanity-laced post for the Rants section and then get shitfaced for the rest of the day so maybe I can wake up on Wednesday (or Thursday [or Friday]) and not remember that my country is headed down the fucking toilet.

I will continue to criticize mistakes, lies and failures no matter who wins.
If Obama wins it only means I already know the weak spots. It will take time with Romney....

But he will screw up, he will lie, and he will get caught That's what I love about politics.

The best government, the most well run government I ever covered as a journalist was the leftist NDP government in Saskatchewan in the 1970's. The Premier, Alan Blakney was a Rhodes scholar and his staff was indeed "the brightest and the best'. They were efficient, relatively clean although they could mix it up like anybody, they stayed clear of the gutter. They made one big mistake. Prior to the election they set up a secret committee of people on government payroll to plan and execute election strategy as well as set up some dirty tricks. And I caught them. Seven people were fired, I got an award and the premier and his cabinet wouldn't speak to me other than press conferences for a month. The party had to pay it all back, about $230K as I recall.

And they were my friends.

I don't care what side of the aisle they're on, I beat the shit out of them. No one in here remembers the Fearandloathing who posted about George W. Bush being a war monger, or tearing into him for never recognizing Canada's role in the 911 attacks [they're firemen were the first foreign boots on the ground in New York and we housed 80,000 travelers when they were stranded when US airspace was shut down] or tearing strips off him for his fucking protectionism on softwood lumber, potatoes and stealing our salmon.

So, with one hand I vote and with the other I try to keep the bastards honest....

Yeah, I'm kind of an idealist that way.....

And forget the almost certain alternative that it is you , not your country , who has got stuck at the U bend .

"keep on" was my choice but "hissy fit" was a close second due to the proven history of dishonesty among the libs.

On the tiny chance that Mitt loses, I honestly don't know what I will do. I can say without exaggeration that severe depression will set in, because I know what another four years will mean, which is- the end of the Republic.

Businesses will continue to slog along, and likely see an even further lessening of economic activity. Obamacare will forever change the inherent rights of the individual. Government will continue get larger, more intrusive. Agencies like EPA will usurp power not granted to them by the contstitution. Energy costs will continue to climb into stratospheric proportions. America will sink as a world power, that vacuum (at least economically) to be filled by Canada, which may become my new homeland if I can convince the wife.

I will not be back here, ever. I have no interest in talking polyticks when the end of my country is at hand. None.

God, that's depressing, Larry. Unfortunately, very true; but sickening all the same :puke:

I sincerely do not believe that a large portion of this country has any real clue what is at stake. I'm disgusted by the willful ignorance of so many of my fellow countrymen. This is not an election for third-party votes. There are VAST differences in Obama and Romney; you could traverse the Grand Canyon to bridge the gap.

In my personal life, should the election swing wrong, there are people who will no longer be a part of my life. Friends, family, anyone who blindly supported Obama. Anyone TOO FUCKING STUPID to open their eyes!!!!

No hyperbole, just reality.

My candidate will not win, but I'm hoping he can make enough of an impact to make someone else lose.

Long ago I decided I wasn't going to associate with people who are Liberals unless they're willing to be taught the path to freedom. I've persuaded quite a few people to start listening to Rush Limbaugh and pay attention to the truth instead of believe the lies, but there are some Libs who are just too wrapped up in their own ignorance to be swayed.

I can't be friends with them any longer.

Actually I doubt that 'business" will continue to slog along. I've seen too many business sites where small business owners who are ready to fold their cards, believe they can retire and live a lessened but reasonable life without the hassle of making payroll, meeting all the regs and shit and dealing with municipal, state and federal bureaucrats.

And, economists here have said the migration of businesses into Canada which has been increasing will grow disproportionally. If Obama raises business taxes, as he will - he will need the money -- Canada's 15% tax rate becomes very attractive especially when you consider that medical benefits are paid by the taxpayer and such things as providing transit passes for employees are a 100% tax deduction

No, business will decline.

There's a reason the American forefathers left the British Sty. Unlike you, and most of your country, they weren't willing to take it up the shitter and have their assholes stretched by the hands the Queen and PM.

You surrendered your individual liberty like a raped kitten. So save your proclamations, dipshit.

what will i do! HELL! I'll be prepping for the meltdown. I will NOT contribute to anything. I will downsize. I may move to texas. I will not play so that i am playing by their rules. I will engage in civil disobedience in an under the radar kind of way. I will stop shopping. I won't be going out to dinner. I will go thru my cash as quickly as possible to pay off as much as i can. I will batten down the hatches because i expect race relations and democrat relations to deteriorate further. I will stock ammo and i will use it if necessary. I will not be engaging in business but I will be engaging in the underground economy, exchanging what i have for what i need and whatever. Everything is going to crash. I'll be ready.

hitler and stalin had democratic mindsets, imbecile. They wanted control over the masses and to cause death everywhere they went. Look at what obama does. He brought revolutions to libya and egypt, and in both those countries they had protests and libya had 4 american deaths.

You need to have your head examined if you think stalin and hitler were conservative, they're at the other end of the yardstick, shitforbrains.
