View Full Version : The World's Most Leftist ("Progressive") Country - North Korea

"Progressives" (sic) worship their own, from Michele and Barack Obama, to Hillary Clinton, to John Kerry and all the rest. They can do no wrong. Any excuse will do, any time.
Likewise, "Progressives" (sic) claim to hate the "greedy rich" and "greedy big business" and "greedy oil companies" and everyone else who is "greedy."

What country most closely matches this "Progressive" (sic) ideal? Of course that would be North Korea. Kim Jung Un is worshipped by his followers, just as Barack Obama is.
The state takes care of everybody. And everybody, except those in the Supreme Master's inner circle, is poor, not "greedy," not "rich." Talk about consensus, they have it!
All for the Dear Leader, no matter what. Why aren't "Progressives" (sic) moving to North Korea in droves, particularly those who promised to leave the U.S. if Trump won!

Incidentally, North Korea is so very impoverished that it is virtually blacked out at night.
Electricity is too expensive for the average family. Climate change aficionados by necessity. That's "progressive" (sic). A close #2 Most Progressive Country would have to be Cuba, which is of course the ONLY country in the world that is classified as "sustainable."

Progressive.org is protesting America's "long, dirty history of military aggression" against their dear North Korean friends.

Where, you may ask, is the World's Most Right Wing Country?
I would have to say Singapore. Freedom and capitalism is their game, and they play it extremely well.

I'm willing to bet I could come up with five examples where I criticized Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for every one example you could supply showing where you criticized conservatives/capitalists.

I realize, though, that you'll never take me up on my challenge, because you're so intellectually weak you have to hide from strong disagreement behind an ignore list.

I posted this earlier.

Strong central gubmint, a dependent and stupid voting herd and our liberties and freedoms are being gradually drained away.

Freedom no longer frees us and democracy is a failure. The voting collective is too stupid, fat and happy.

Typical progressive tripe and the author lived up expectations. America, evil incarnate, North Korea, innocent victim.
"Christine Hong is an associate professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an executive board member of the Korea Policy Institute. She has spent time in North Korea, including as part of a North American peace delegation."

We aren't doing much better under the right. I'd still have voted for Trump over Clinton due to the Supreme Court, but I don't really understand why the right is having a problem with North Korea.

North Korea has one of the most repressive immigration policies and that includes guests. Since the right loves Mexico's draconian laws, I don't know why they don't hold North Korea up as another shining example of immigration policies.

That little nutjob trying to look important is a lot like Donald Trump. He's narcissistic, egotistic, and thinks the sun rises and shines on his pompous a**. He even has a bad hairdo like his hero Donald Trump.

One day they will have you sitting around the campfire, holding hands and singing Kum Bah Yah...

If we want to make the top ten in free countries, we have a lot of introspection to do.

At least he does not marry to anybody. And he votes according to his conscience and to the ones that he thinks represent better what he thinks. This cannot be told for all the fanboys of a party in this party. That they act as if politics was a football match, and they have to support their team, whatever they do.

North Korea is socialist on paper but in practice it's a totalitarian patriarchy basically governed by a couple of kooks who employ a cult of personality, stifling oppression and severe isolation in order to maintain their totalitarian stranglehold on the nation.

I hippie wouldn't last five minutes in N. Korea.

It's the liberals who are branded as dissidents then disappear in fascist states.

Here's a great cluster plot that groups government models based on authoritarianism (y) versus liberalism (x). Notice fascism on the top right, which I think reflects N. Korea more than communist/marxist -- where the mode/means of production is centralized rather than distributed.

Either way, I see hints of both absolute monarchism (right) and communism (left) from N. Korea.
