They will have plenty for midterm elections. Couple that with other factors and the house may look quite different in 2018. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/democrats-vs-trump/house-dems-smash-fundraising-records-ahead-midterms-n761466

They had plenty of money for the last few elections and the Democrats have lost seats all over the nation. Money isn't the issue.

If you support and promote the buying of office with the largest campaign funds then you do not support democracy.

This is what disgusts me about our political process, it's an aristocracy and the sheep are too stupid and/or too arrogant to care.

The process is a fucking joke, the participants are a fucking joke, the idiots that support it are a fucking joke...

This country sucks

The country has been an openly corrupt joke for a while. The only reason why it's better than many of the other countries is because these nutjobs haven't been able to completely erase the fruits of our forefathers labor. Yet.

The country isn't a joke. Many of our supposed leaders are a joke.

Some of the prominent leaders can't even communicate effectively in their native language.

I'd be willing to bet that we have members of the House of Representatives who believe if Trump is hounded out of office, Hillary Clinton will be sworn in as POTUS.

The establishment of both parties have been spending vast sums for campaigns- much of it wasted.

Actually, according the Federal Election Commission, the Democrats are having trouble raising money. Republucans have raised more than twice as much over the last few months.

The Democrat party is fractured and getting worse.

Wait and see what happens when the current investigation does not live up to the Democrats fantasy.

Democrats fail to cash in on Trump troubles, GOP coffers overflowing"Despite making a money pitch after every misstatement or errant tweet, the Democratic National Committee raised $6.4 million last month, compared to $9.5 million pulled in by the Republican National Committee, according to FEC reports (http://docquery.fec.gov/cgi-bin/forms/C00003418/1153340/) filed Monday. Republicans got off to a good start with a record-setting $20 million haul (http://docquery.fec.gov/pdf/490/201702209049740490/201702209049740490.pdf) in January, which is double the total raised by their Democratic counterpart in the first two months of 2017.
To date, the RNC has outpaced (http://www.fec.gov/disclosure/partySummary.do) the Democrats with nearly $30 million in total receipts, compared with nearly $11.5 million for the DNC.
So far this year, Republican campaign committees have raised nearly $60 million, as opposed to the $36.6 million in receipts brought in by the Democrats, according to the FEC."
