It’s you,” he said.


The host continued to call out the president for “scapegoating,” “feeding [his own] beast,” and “acting beastly with [his] own guys.” Cavuto criticized Trump for alienating members of his own party and creating the very distractions he blames for derailing his presidential agenda. He then urged the president to listen to his once-friendly allies.

I am not persuaded that he is really capable of change. He is who he is at this stage of his life. I think this is the ultimate source of liberal anxiety about Trump and the ultimate difference between cons and libs as they are currently constituted. Libs focus a little more on the psychology of a candidate. Perhaps it's a left brain vs right brain dynamic. Trump is a total right brainer - controlled by emotions rather than logic. People on the left are likewise more in touch with emotions, so perhaps it takes one to know one.

Even a novice should be learning faster. In fact, if this were school, he would be in special ed. It's not that he's not learning, it's that he rejects the need to change his behavior. He doesn't believe that he doesn't know everything or that he needs to be consistent. He has no personal insight and never has. He's running America on the same basis as he ran his businesses. However, many of his businesses ended up in bankruptcy, often because he refused advice.

I think some of that is very true Doc, but I think you and many others sell trump way to short. His bankrupticies werent accidental, they were planned, many many business' do the same thing, especially the casino business. There isnt a casino in atlantic city that hasnt gone bankrupt mulitple times, you can thank Bill Clintons bankruptcy law for that. Most of his bankruptcies were casino related. He owned 4 casinos in AC at one time.

Hes a shrewd businessman whos made in the billions, you dont do that being a dumbass.

Trump has never been given one second of a chance by the left. They set upon him the minute Hillary conceded the election and they havent stopped yet. The attacks on trump the entire left and the entire media is UNPRECEDENTED and has never happened before like this. WHy?

Because Obama and hillary have promoted attacking trump for two very obvious reasons. Hillary got spanked and she wants to get even and Obama knows his legacy is quite fragile, built on a dieing ACA and exec orders that are categorically being reversed. Its the left that has ripped this country in half, you cant blame all this on conservatives.

I will admit that my reaction to Trump is visceral and always has been. There are certain personality types that put me off or who I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them. Narcissists for sure, but also braggarts, bullies and "salesman" types. Trump exhibits far too many elements of the entire list. He just automatically sets off alarms for me. He could embrace every political position that I espouse and I would still be waiting for the other shoe to drop. I have learned not to ignore those alarms.
