Democrats have a big problem with the school choice movement because it's breaking up their stranglehold on education. They only care about choice when it's time to flush their unborn baby down a toilet.

Watched a special on this last night. Sunday's with Megyn Kelly. It was on Charter Schools. Great segment.

All I can say is if we keep doing things the same way over and over and expect different results we are insane. These unions are fighting to keep things the same. We have increased money to education for years with worse results. Why can we all put party affiliations aside and fix these things?

Because the Democrat party relies heavily on teachers unions for financial support and votes. Protecting the unjust, ineffective educational status quo is, therefore, a political necessity for the Democrat party. They put their own personal greed above the education of children, yet they keep acting like they're the only ones who care about children. They are fruit cakes.

I was surprised to learn that even though a teacher doesn't need to join the teacher's union, the teacher must pay dues.
