America is always naive, seeing others as wanting to be like them, or, forcing others to be like them. democracy is no secret, if afghanistan wanted to be democratic they would have put in place measures to make them so. with the ousting of a regime, so illegally and immorally, it can be said they were paranoid of things they felt they could not control, something evident in today's global society.

Let's look at true democracy - western europe? they practice the roles they lead in to the point of merely advocating for leaders and parties, blessing them with the choice of having their opinions heard, yes? if they were to get involved like this, it could be put down to a new nazi regime taking over the world from guerilla sources, of course.

Thankfully, those people are gone, and, the new c.i.a. will hopefully be reporting on progress made with each underground fraternity that emerges. if the media was to be fed information about these fears, the mostly 'western sympathetic' populations of the cities of the near east could be guided away from regimes like these and then seek the parties they want and with policies they want to guide them.

Why can the USA overthrow the governments of other nations, but other countries cannot overthrow the US government?

Oh, that's easy.

US government = Good
Other governments = Bad

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, and intolerable.
