Six months into Donald Trump (http://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/donald-trump)’s presidency and the legacy of his predecessor (http://www.thedailybeast.com/report-obama-livid-over-trump-tweets)that he’d promised to erase is proving stubbornly enduring.
That’s the reality Trump awoke to Tuesday morning after Republican efforts (http://www.thedailybeast.com/mitch-mcconnell-has-few-options-left-on-health-careand-the-base-is-angry-as-hell)to repeal and replace Obamacare (http://thedailybeast.com/keyword/obamacare) cratered in the Senate and after his administration formally certified Iran’s compliance with the nuclear accord Tehran negotiated with President Barack Obama (http://thedailybeast.com/keyword/barack-obama) and five other nations.

Whether Trump is absorbing how the Obama agenda has persevered is another question entirely. White House aides and the president’s advisers say they try to keep him happy by routinely conveying to him that his administration has been a smashing legislative and political success—despite ample evidence to the contrary.
Multiple Trump administration officials detailed to The Daily Beast how senior staffers have a long-standing practice of assuring Trump of the quantity of his major accomplishments (of which he has barely any (http://www.thedailybeast.com/its-been-six-months-are-you-tired-of-winning-with-trump-yet) legislative and some administrative) and of placating him by flagging positive media coverage, typically from right-wing outlets.
This is, in part, a means to avoid further upsetting a president who is already prone to irrationally taking out his anger (http://www.thedailybeast.com/white-house-staff-react-in-real-time-as-trump-tweets-jesus) and professional frustrations on senior staff and who also has a penchant for yelling at the TV (http://www.thedailybeast.com/team-trump-hunts-for-traitors-while-the-president-growls-at-the-tv). It’s also one of the reasons President Trump will often boast, on Twitter and in other public fora, of how “no administration has accomplished more in” a comparable amount of time, or how “we’ve signed more bills—and I’m talking about through the legislature—than any president, ever.”
Many of the president’s advisers are well aware of the scoreboard. “I mean, of course we know that,” one White House official told The Daily Beast. “It’s not… tough to see how little movement there’s been [on major agenda items].” And they’ve begun looking for scapegoats for why major chunks of Obama’s legacy remain intact.

Of course Trump's low information bucket carriers fell for it too.

Let's see what the story is at the end of Trump's presidency in eight years.

Let's see what the story is at the end of Trump's presidency in eight years.

I believe I predicted his presidency would be over around Aug 8th. Given my accuracy record so far, that may be another accurate guess.

Let's see...Trump is president, and his party controls the house and senate....why is Obamacare still a law again?

After 6 Months, Trump Can't Kill Obama's Legacy
He's started to reverse some of Obama's legacy. Obama had eight years to screw things up.

Are you still going to refer to it as Obamacare and his signature achievement when it finally collapses?

Just what is the Obama legacy anyway? Foreign policy indecision and incompetence. Using the power of the various agencies of government to punish political opposition. There's something else I'm forgetting. Oh yeah, adopting the supposed Bush tax cuts as his own.

The biggest accomplishment Trump can ever do is nominate a conservative to SCOTUS. WIN!!!

It's not that simple.

It's not an issue of Democrat, Republican or even RINO's. It's establishment ruling class politicians vs the outsider. The establishment types do not want the outsider coming in and ruining their gig. They have created this monster and anything which threatens their power must be fought to the death.

A further comment I might make. I have heard from several right wing friends (not necessarily anyone here in this forum) that Trump is good because he's not part of the establishment. I think that is naive thinking at best. While he may not be a Washington insider, he most certainly likes Wall Street. And that I find could be dangerous to average Americans. Just my two cents.

After 6 Months, Trump Can't Kill Obama's Legacy

And what exactly is his legacy?: I don't recall anything in the Daily Beast article about his failed economic policy. Average GDP growth during his 2 terms in office was only 1.48%. He became the only President to not have even one year of 3% growth. That's his legacy, which his supporters tried to excuse by calling it "the new normal".

Also: The Affordable Care Act that broke his promises that people would be able to keep their doctor, keep their plan and premiums would go down. Instead premiums skyrocketed while people lost their doctor and their plan. That's his legacy.

He won the Nobel Peace prize in 2009: But, sadly, it did not achieve what the committee had hoped for. That's his legacy.

Last but not least, he nearly doubled the national debt. That's another part of his legacy.

Liberals just keep losing. That's happiness.

Their happiness or sadness is dependent upon events which are beyond their control. If they don't get their way, they are sad. Then if others ignore them, accept reality and carry on with their life, they get angry.

Anger, sadness and hopelessness are the tenants of modern Liberalism. Then they wonder why they are losing support all over the country.

Trump will dismantle Obama's rule one piece at a time.............as of today, he's cut ACA funding to 17 cities that are using it for illegal aliens.
IF they want it back, they'll have to prove that no illegals are receiving funding for ACA.
Message to those 17 cities...give up your illegals.................

President Donald Trump's administration has ended Affordable Care Act contracts that brought assistance into libraries, businesses and urban neighborhoods in 18 cities, meaning shoppers on the insurance exchanges will have fewer places to turn for help signing up for coverage, reports the Associated Press

I knew you were brighter than the other two, and I got that too. They didn't read it. that funding wasn't going where it was supposed to
