“I just came back not that long ago from the Balkans, where I sat in a place like Macedonia and there I learned that the United States government borrowing money from China and Saudi Arabia had handed over at least $5 millions in contracts transferred through U.S. Aid ID into George Soros organizations that were used to manipulate elections in the Balkans, and that’s just particularly Macedonia – not including the neighboring countries that are there. And some of that money was used to translate Saul Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals’ into Macedonian to distribute the book and the ‘Rules for Radicals’ and actions of radicals were manifested in the election efforts in that part of the world.”

The US government is constantly meddling in the internal affairs of other countries. There probably isn't a country on earth that doesn't have at least a few CIA agents in it trying to manipulate political, commercial, and social outcomes. Countries that resist these attempts at meddling usually end up on the receiving end of an invasion or a proxy war. For the US government to accuse Russia of "interfering" is easily the most grotesque display of hypocrisy I've ever seen.

How can we identify fake news? When there's proof Alinsky didn't even write Rules for Radicals.

I pwned you again:
Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals is the last book published in 1971 by activist (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activism) and writer Saul D. Alinsky (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saul_Alinsky) shortly before his death. His goal for the Rules for Radicals was to create a guide for future community organizers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_organizing) to use in uniting low-income (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty) communities, or "Have-Nots", in order for them to gain social (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social), political (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics), legal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal), and economic (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy) power.[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rules_for_Radicals#cite_note-RULES-1) Within it, Alinsky compiled the lessons he had learned throughout his experiences of community organizing from 1939–1971 and targeted these lessons at the current, new generation of radicals.[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rules_for_Radicals#cite_note-trolander-2)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rules_for_Radicals (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rules_for_Radicals)

First published in 1971, Rules for Radicals is Saul Alinsky's impassioned counsel to young radicals on how to effect constructive social change and know âthe difference between being a realistic radical and being a rhetorical one.â Written in the midst of radical political developments whose direction Alinsky was one of the first to question, this volume exhibits his style at its best. Like Thomas Paine before him, Alinsky was able to combine, both in his person and his writing, the intensity of political engagement with an absolute insistence on rational political discourse and adherence to the American democratic tradition.

How much do ya think Vladimir spent?

No telling. It's just extremely hypocritical for the left to be howling about Trump and the Russians, yet ho-hum when they interfere in the elections elsewhere.

Not really. I don't know exactly what tactics were employed but I bet it wasn't hacking, fake news, and lying.

Perhaps, but paranoia was certainly involved.

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/fbi-monitored-social-media-on-election-day-for-fake-news-about-hillary-clinton-report/article/2630671

The FBI monitored social media on Election Day last year to track a campaign of "fake news," believed to be orchestrated by Russia to benefit the Trump campaign, according to a report Friday.

CNN reports (http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/04/politics/election-day-cyber-threat-fbi-monitoring/index.html?sr=twCNNp080417election-day-cyber-threat-fbi-monitoring0401PMStory&CNNPolitics=Tw) that dozens of agents and analysts were stationed at a command center watching social media feeds sharing stories thought to be part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

Many of the stories, shared on Facebook and Twitter, were used to spread viral news stories focused on making false claims about Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee for president.
Teams at the FBI, Homeland Security Department and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence held conference calls with the White House every three hours on Election Day to report updates.

Using taxpayer $$ to pay for the FBI, etc. to monitor the election on Hillary's behalf is paranoid behavior,IMO.

from his own damned source:

Along the way he authored the books Reveille for Radicals and Rules for Radicals to provide “counsel to young radicals on how to effect constructive social change,” the latter of which opened with the following explanation of its purpose:
