View Full Version : Allen West: I Can No Longer Remain Silent on Colin Kaepernick

Alan West Im sure is one of the lefts favorite Black People but he makes some valid points on Kaepernicks lack of a job.

I’ve kept my peace on this subject, but you can refer to my original comments on the issue of Colin Kaepernick (https://www.allenbwest.com/message-non-oppressed-black-man-colin-kaepernick/) from last year’s football season.
But now I hear there’s a petition of folks who are planning to boycott the NFL if Colin Kaepernick doesn’t get picked up by a football team. This is typical of the left who only operates in the world of intimidation, coercion, and violence … threats.
So now the progressive socialist left wants to coerce and intimidate a private sector business into accepting one of their chuckleheads.
Here’s the bottom line: Colin Kaepernick utilized his freedom of speech and expression — stupidly — in protest against our national anthem. That is his right, but guess what my tender cupcake leftist social justice warriors, there are consequences.
If Colin Kaepernick wants to make politicized statements he is free to do so. And NFL teams also have a freedom, not to hire him! You delusional leftists seem to believe we have to put up with your insidious proclamations and actions. We do not.
Can y’all be so intellectually challenged to believe that you get to say and do whatever you wish, and all others must accommodate and acquiesce to your whims? That is reflective of the childlike immature manner in which you live your lives. You throw a tantrum in public and expect not to get spanked.

That is the most accurate of statements I've seen to date concerning Copernicus. Threw a tantrum and expected not to get spanked.

I agree thats why I posted it, there are things we are allowed to do by law and are considered a right but before you do them you need to consider the rights that others have.

He had a right to protest and cost the NFL money, they have a right not to hire him.

Facts about Colin Kapernick
1) He could of been cut loose for his protest because they occured on work time at work events. So it was his right but the consquences could of started immediately .
2) The 49ers also had a right NOT to fire him immediately and they didn't.
3) The "stupidity" referred to in that article probably has to do with Kap protesting police brutality usually committed by tonwies by knellling during the Nationa Anthem which most of us associate with the military . In other words his choice of how to protest didn't exactly stop those "stupid jock " jokes or help black people at all.
4) Kap is right about one thing. The NFL DOES have far bigger problems than him. Their viewership dropping is not because of him.
5) If he had top level talent he'd have a job. That's just the way sports is. Like other entertainment , sports is about money and putting on a show, not social statements. How many music entertainers has the industry black balled for the crap they do? . But he sucks at pocket passing and has no short passing game and despite playing behind a medicore ( at best) OL he holds the ball for fuckingever! He can't shread zone defences with his runnning game.

Newsflash. Sports fans suck at boycotts. Otherwise they would actually have some say in how the sports they fund are presented like normal product customers do.

NFL ticket sales down 34% since the anthem "sit downs". Viewership also down significantly. I'd say the fans are speaking quite clearly.
