Russian politician Vyacheslav Nikonov, a member of the Duma, said U.S. "intelligence missed it when Russian intelligence stole the president of the United States." He made the remarks on a Russian panel show, "Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov."

Sounds like the Russian politician is trying to take advantage of your guys' which hunt. Maybe that was their plan all along, to sow mistrust into our electoral process and divide us?

Sound like a way to get some fans, while pissing off Americans. Win-win.

This story comes from some woman on Twitter who runs the website "Russia Lies" and is absent any meaningful context or credible translation.

But let's just take it at face value because it seems to confirm the outlandish, totally unproven narrative about "Russian collusion" that Crepitus and company have desperately clung to for months.

Expect some babble about the cia, fbi, and blah blah blah. But don't expect actual proof.

You have to have very little faith in America's election process to fall for a story like this. Or you have suffered such a break with reality because of the Trump victory, that your mind has to accept any and all conspiracy theories to handle your temporary mental condition.

There must be a password or secret handshake or something nobody knows in order to get a straight answer out of a lefty on this question.

"You haven't been following this?"... gawd

Moscow has tried to influence US elections for almost a century. Not sure why anyone is surprised.

Succeeded at what ??

I've made this argument before, they succeeded at a loss of confidence in the electoral process here with many.

I submit that this was their goal all along and even though the left cannot product even a simple argument at how they succeeded, they believe it - or want to believe it.

The Russians are/were well aware of the lack of sophistication among voters and played on it.

Not in changing the vote. But rather casting doubt on the process. Largely with a culpable US media.

If true, we got the best possible result. Thanks, Putin!

Did they hack voting machines? Did they stuff ballot boxes?
The disembodied visage of Putin loomed over the country on election day and used its telepathic powers to influence people in swing states to vote for Trump.

I thought everyone knew this.

Ah shit, I must have missed the Ruskie memo.

Had I seen it on election day no doubt I would have changed my vote from Johnson to Trump.

Hillary didn't need the Russians to help her lose. She did a great job of alienating many Americans on her own. The last I read from Russian sources was that they were trying to be pro-Trump until October and then they stopped because they figured Hillary had the election in the bag.
