Lots of different people wanted to be president in 2016.

Looking back, who was, or would have been, the worst candidate for president in 2016?

Hilary, because she represents and embodies everything that is wrong with Washington and continued politics as usual , meaning endless war, an illegal and failed federal war on drugs , a failed war on poverty, graft, openly for sale politicians , endless debt and a government that never really fixes anything. And that's just for starters.
At least Bernie, misguided as he may be, was sincere.

I say Trump, but he won, so it has to be Hillary.

I think I would go with Scott Walker and Rick Santorum. Tempted to also include Ted Cruz for the "ick" factor.

Bernie is a Marxist. Marxists are not sincere. Marxists are deceivers.

As far as the "ick factor", that creepy Little Marco icked me out. Yuch.

All of them except Bernie Sanders.

Yeah... him and Cruz just seemed slimy., for lack of a better word. Kasich appeared the most sincere in the group of candidates, I think.

For me (and Peter1469 can testify to my having said this as far back as May of 2015, i.e. before he declared), the worst candidate was always Donald Trump. By "worst", I don't mean "sucked at campaigning", but rather I mean that I disliked him as a candidate and as a person the most.

Conversely, I liked Bernie Sanders the best. Goes to show you how much I have in common with the general public, since my preferred candidate didn't even get nominated and my least favorite was the victor!

Hillary. After her, Jeb. They both thought they were owed the office, both thought they didn't have to work for it. Both would have continued a dynasty. Neither really had a message. Both were just going to be puppets for the establishment.

In a way, I think the worst candidate is a disingenuous one.

While I HATE Hillary Clinton, at least you know what you would have had with her. I despised Obama, but you knew what you were gonna get with him.

Someone like Marco Rubio is a lying snake. He claims to be soooo conservative but is a deceiver. So, using that definition, I would guess the worse would have been Little Marco.

Candidates from best to worst

Johnson/Stein

Trump/Sanders

Cruz
O'Mailey
Rubio

Bush/Clinton

In reality they all sucked pretty hard though. They almost always do.

This. In a cesspool of shit, Clinton and Bush were by far the worst.

Bernie had one thing right! 'The billionaires can't have it all!' Yet they do! The Koch influence is all around us, everyday!
