John ... you know what I want to know?

How many other secretes did you tell while my Father and Uncles were getting shot at in Vietnam?

"I had learned what we all learned over there: Every man has his breaking point. I had reached mine."

Wow, a Cigar and Truthdoesn'tmatter circle jerk. Chris tried but it's pointless. Cigar must feel really manly attacking an elderly war hero who was tortured. Oh, and that tortured isn't liberal torture where people say rude things about your mother. No, it's the kind of torture that leaves permanent physical injuries.

And then on the left we have Cigar, Truthdoesn'tmatter, and President Obama. How pitiful.

I don't ... did you actually see the X-Rays?

Were there any eye witnesses to said torture?

I'm sure Donald Trump wants to know.

5] An anonymous smear campaign began against McCain, delivered by push polls (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Push_poll), faxes, e-mails, flyers, and audience plants (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Plant_(person)).[125] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-az-2000-125)[141] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-141) The smears claimed that McCain had fathered a black child out of wedlock (the McCains' dark-skinned daughter was adopted from Bangladesh (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/Bangladesh)), that his wife Cindy was a drug addict, that he was a homosexual, and that he was a "Manchurian Candidate (http://thepoliticalforums.com/wiki/The_Manchurian_Candidate)" who was either a traitor or mentally unstable from his North Vietnam POW days.[125] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-az-2000-125)[135] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-nyt101907-135) The Bush campaign strongly denied any involvement with the attacks.[135] (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#cite_note-nyt101907-135)

And you live in lala land. Anybody who think McCain is a tea party supporter, doesn't pay much attention to McCain.

He is showing me why I didn't want him as president, but not nearly to the degree the victor in the last presidential election has since he took office. Obama makes McCain look like he might not have been so bad. It is pathetic when those two were the best we could come up with in 2008

No man can last under torture. That is sort of the point. If the US Navy was doing its job, any useful tactical intel McCain had was rendered non-useful fairly quickly.

You apparently don't know anything about McCain, (I'm not surprised). He's been a member of several committees which are related to or involving foreign policy and intelligence.

I think he's a Republican with a lot of integrity who tends to have a lot of common sense. He's highly respectable even if you don't agree with him ideologically.

My biggest problem with Sen. McCain is that he has a tendency to trust Democrats. For left-wing Democrats lying is a sacred duty.

Chris
11-19-2012, 09:44 PM
The tendency might lessen were he to see Dems like cigar and matters, who I don't think know or care about McCain but for goading when they're not gloating.
