California challenges Trump's rollback of birth control mandate. California Attorney General Xavier Bercerra (D) on Friday filed a lawsuit challenging the Trump administration's rollback of an Obama-era policy that required employers include birth control coverage in their health insurance plans. The President "wants businesses and corporations to control family planning decisions rather than a woman in consultation with her doctor. These anti-women's health regulations prove once again that the Trump administration is willing to trample on people’s rights,” Becerra said in a statement. The lawsuit comes after the White House announced that all employers would no longer have to provide birth control to employees under their health insurance plans if the employers have religious objections.

This is a frivolous lawsuit. California needs to be punished for wasting our time.

You can hand them out but you cant make them use them. Look contraceptives are cheap and plentiful and alot of cities and states give them away free along with the pill and still they get pregnant.
You cant replace irresponsiblity
I know I know its all the mans fault

Yes, because the right just rolled over for Obama.
Just ask Justice Garland.

I understand not forcing religious organizations like churches to pay for something that violates their religious principles. I don't extend that to non-profits that cater to a diverse population and employ people who are not members of their faith. I also do not extend it to businesses whose owners have specific religious issues, because business is not religion and religion is not a condition of employment. Making profits selling chicken, for instance, is not God's work.

You just didn't pay attention because you agree with the previous bedshitters.
It will be interesting to see how many businesses find God.

There doesn't need to be a religious basis for the objection. The employer should be able to just say, "No, your sex life is not my responsibility".
It is ridiculous to think that an employer should be required to provide anything other a fair day's wages for a fair day's work.

BC pills are not just used as a contraceptive but are also prescribed for irregular or heavy menstrual periods, menstrual cramps, acne, PMS, Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), endometriosis, and hormone replacement therapy in adolescent girls and women of childbearing age. The employer is not entitled to medical information that is between the employee and his/her doctor.

Not really relevant. He should not be required to pay for ANYTHING that was not caused as a direct result of the person's job. If he IS going to be forced to pay for it, he should have full access so he knows what he is paying for.
