I dont like Lyndsey Graham, but one thing he says about Rand Paul rings true and that is
Senator Paul can’t vote yes on anything because it’s never good enough,” Graham said and that seems to be true, I also am of the opinion he wants the attention to get in the national news.

I am for Military Spending as long as Reps and Dems are going to send our kids into war, they YOU MUST GIVE THEM THE BEST equipt possible to come home safe. Theres a myriad of other things to cut like subsidies to big Oil and Big Pharma and Big Agriculture and the NFL

A few familiar senators are sparring this week over tax reform. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is not ready to support the GOP's budget proposal until it is stripped of the $43 billion it plans on using for overseas war funding. He's a "yes" if Congress does not exceed budget caps, he said (http://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/17/rand-paul-oppose-senate-gop-budget-243864).
Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and John McCain (R-AZ), meanwhile, want to raise the spending caps, noting they need sufficient funds for the military because "young men and women in the military are dying today because of a lack of readiness, training, equipment and funding."
Paul didn't exactly agree with that notion and tweeted his opinion of his colleagues's efforts.

Senators McCain and Graham are torpedoing the budget by insisting on busting the budget caps for more spending.

“Senator Paul can’t vote yes on anything because it’s never good enough,” Graham said.

Big Defense is just as bad as Big Oil, Big Pharma, and Big Ag. They all need to be cut.

We don’t need to spend more on military/defense, we need to spend less, trim the waste, and prioritize our spending.

I have a hard time believing the whole "Sending kids off without proper training or equipment" bit. The military budget is already enormous. If soldiers are not being trained properly or lack equipment, then the money given to the Department of Defense is being misused.

And yes, it is being misused.
