President Obama got 100% of the dead people votes, again. Foreign nationals voted over 98% for Obama. Of course, some people being given two or three ballots at a polling station do skew the results of these counts.

Yes, and as an American I find it pathetic. My fellow voters are obviously duped by the President. They had the opportunity to elect Romney, a man that is duly qualified to save us from financial ruin, and instead they chose to re-elect a community organizer with no business skills, a poor economic record over the past four years, and whose best virtue is that he wants to give "free stuff" to the voters. Pathetic.

I'm not insulting anyone. I am merely stating the fact that there are a lot of uninformed voters in this country who put themselves before their country. I truly get it. Cigar....crawl back into your playpen.

I don't have time to be on vacation. I am too busy trying to save my company and the employees who work there...despite the failures from the President and Congress. There is no leadership. We are headed for the fiscal cliff....

If the President could have given me ONE solid reason to re-elect him, I would have considered voting for him. I desperately wanted his last four years to be productive and I wanted him to achieve so many things. He did not accomplish anything that helped our economy and he didn't give me any new ideas about how the next four years would be different. He gave us hope, but no change. I saw Mitt Romney as our country's next opportunity to change things around. A business man with a PLAN to try and salvage the mess we are in. Mitt will quietly go back to his private life and he will be okay. He doesn't NEED to be president, he just wanted to help the country. It was never about him. It was about country. President Obama is obviously all about himself (and not for the country) as he has offered nothing new to save us from the fiscal cliff.....

Those aren't informed voters, those are wacky fringe voters....a very minute number of voters. There are more dead voters voting for Obama than wacky birther voters. Quit deflecting and try to keep up.

I think it's an unfortunate coincidence about the 47%... I dislike what Romney said, but I acknowledge that it's very human to say the wrong things for the wrong reasons for various situations, (example, maybe he was catering to his audience?). I'm not trying to excuse him, but everyone says stupid shit all the time. Has to be like salt in the wound to get 47% of the vote.

You mean like this?

The actual liabilities of the federal government—including Social Security,
Medicare, and federal employees' future retirement benefits—already exceed $86.8
trillion, or 550% of GDP. For the year ending Dec. 31, 2011, the annual accrued
expense of Medicare and Social Security was $7 trillion. Nothing like that
figure is used in calculating the deficit. In reality, the reported budget
deficit is less than one-fifth of the more accurate figure.

It's hard to imagine that he did not mean what he said. It's not often a candidate can disenfranchise such a huge segment of the population all at once.

He called these people "takers" because they don't pay federal taxes. He demeaned these people, inferring that somehow these people had something to do with writing the tax laws. The ironic thing is that guys like him work hard to avoid paying as much as possible. What would really bug me is if this group of 47ers weren't paying taxes because they had all their money in off-shore accounts.

Mitt was correct. The 47% who pay zero in federal income tax (and 36% who get money back via the (un)Earned Income Tax credit) were not going to vote for Mitt. He was just wrong to say it the way that he did.
