Wow big comeback, he was originally behind the democrat

Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie has a huge lead on Democratic candidate Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam two weeks before the election, according to a new poll.
Gillespie leads Northam by 8 points, 41 to 33 percent, among likely voters in a Hampton University Center for Public Policy poll (http://news.hamptonu.edu/release/Nationally-Recognized-Hampton-University-Poll-Places-Gillespie-in-Gubernatorial-Lead-in-Virginia) released Wednesday.
This new poll is a positive sign for Gillespie, who President Donald Trump endorsed in early October. Vice President Mike Pence, who spoke at one of Gillespie’s campaign rallies in Abingdon, Va., also endorsed him.
Former president George W. Bush, who spoke at two of his rallies in October, endorsed him too.

The Dem is running on a "pro-sanctuary city" platform, among other things.

Apparently, no one in his campaign gets their news from anywhere besides the left spoonfeeding cites....thus his vast confusion over what the overwhelming majority of LEGAL, AMERICAN CITIZENS, outside of leftbubble, want.

Two points to note

The key (as in last year's presidential election) are the 27 percent of the likely voters who remain Undecided. Even though Gillespie has a sizeable lead over Northam, the 27 percent of Undecided voters may mean that the race is tighter than the survey revealed..

More than one-half (56 percent) of likely Virginia voters disapprove of the job that Donald Trump is doing as President of the United States, a number slightly higher than the national average.

If Gillespie wins, the Democrats will start eating their young.

Two points to note

That 27% includes people who refused to answer. That is more a conservative trait. The republican is running some pretty effective ads. Saw one today blasting the blanket restoration of rights including one for a guy who had been busted for kiddie porn. I have now idea which way it will go but give it a slight lean GOP at this point. Fairly certain turn out is going to be embarrassingly low though.

As opposed to a right-wing spoonfeeding site...

Wow, great comeback.

This is another race where the left declared a "referendum on TRUMP!!!!", and will, suddenly , declare it "unimportant" and "no big deal" ,when they get their asses kicked...again.

Delightful.

Off year election turn out is low, especially for democrats, and democrats are more likely to lie to pollsters about whether they intend to vote.

All I can say is this has a poll as a source, sorry I don't believe polls. I hope the people of VA vote for the best person and that blind politics do not decide the winner.

I see no evidence of that in the link you provided.

Then you need to do your own research. As I indicated, I am not data mining for people.
