Excellent! This will be an eye popper for our conservative friends. Let's keep up to date on this!

Then we can see which of you started threads based on their fake news.

It could be interesting.

More interesting! Someone surely will compare it to Trump's twitter account. How many times did he tweet or retweet Russian propaganda?

Any wagers?

Facebook Inc. (https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/FB:US) will show people which Russian propaganda pages or accounts they’ve followed and liked on the social network, responding to a request (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-03/congress-assigned-a-lot-of-homework-to-facebook-twitter-google) from Congress to address manipulation and meddling during the 2016 presidential election.

The tool will appear by the end of the year in Facebook’s online support center, the company said in a blog post Wednesday. It will answer the user question, “How can I see if I’ve liked or followed a Facebook page or Instagram account created by the Internet Research Agency?” That’s the Russian firm that created thousands of incendiary posts from fake accounts posing as U.S. citizens. People will see a list of the accounts they followed, if any, from January 2015 through August 2017.

Not one single conservative here will admit they fell for it. They will all say some version of "I knew that was fake".

I don't have a Twitter account so no following anyone. I don't use Facebook other than to connect with relatives. I can say that my Trump vote was of my own doing. Anyone who is politically swayed by social media should check themselves.

And are attacked because of there dubious origins as they should be right. So what sources are credible in a partisan's eyes? Formerly credible outlets have trashed their reputations because true journalism has been displaced by agenda driven propaganda.

Russian propaganda. Not good but neither is the propaganda that "progressives" spew out in the media and tv programs and movies and schools from grade school to universities. Confusing kids at an early age that they might not be male or female or college kids that its OK to hate everything the country stands for. Its getting difficult to identify who our enemies are.

So, Facebook will show users which Russian propaganda pages or accounts they’ve followed and liked on the social network.

Is the "Internet Research Agency" the only propagator of supposed fake news ??

Is Facebook the only and or final arbiter of said fake news and propaganda ??

Were all the posts and accounts from the "Internet Research Agency" propagating fake news propaganda ??

If the answer to any one or all the questions is yes then it's basically an exercise in futility. Their search "tool" could very well be it's own propagator of propaganda.

What about US orgs doing the same spreading of fake news ?? Wouldn't that be just as or even more egregious ??

You're right Bethere this could turn out to be very interesting ....... and telling.
