Bullshit. Lying about being native American, for her OWN BENEFIT, is the "slur" to native Americans, of which Warren is guilty, and the President was right to ridicule Fauxcahontas.

They have objected, whether or not they like Warren. Perhaps even more so if they don't, when a native icon is being used as a point of ridicule. It's disrespectful and ultimately adding insult to injury.

FYI, I was press-ganged into a seminar recently that was really about sales at the end of the day, but purported itself as being about overcoming negative relationships with clients. One thing that the facilitator remarked on was the F/U smile that you get from people who absolutely don't buy what you're saying, but rather than say so, they just smile and think F/U.

Elizabeth Warren is not a citizen of the Cherokee Nation (http://www.cherokee.org/).

We need to ask ourselves;

Why is the Republican Party so afraid of this woman?

Its simple; She is very wary of wall street crooks, like the ones that gamed the system and caused a financial collapse. And Republicans have always protected WS.

The average American should be for what she stands for with her brainchild, the CFTB, which put up a firewall to keep WS from going ape shit again!

In the meantime, Trump is for gutting the CFTB, and letting the crooks out again!

Trump's insensitivity on display as he poses with Native Americans before Andrew Jackson portrait

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/trump-posed-native-americans-andrew-jackson-portrait-article-1.3660887

Andrew Jackson was called ‘Indian killer.’

Trump honored Navajos in front of his portrait.

Making matters seem worse, Trump made the remarks while standing before a portrait of Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States, who served from 1829 to 1837.On May 28, 1830, Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act, the legislation that set into motion the bloody "Trail of Tears."

Trumps' Pocahontas quip is latest example of his profound ignorance

https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/trump-s-pocahontas-insult-makes-mockery-native-americans-diverse-history-ncna824471

https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&ei=mMsdWqKOB4SAmQHf15YQ&q=Pocahontas'+insult+&oq=Pocahontas'+insult+&gs_l=psy-ab.3...2056.2056.0.3516.1.1.0.0.0.0.72.72.1.1.0... .0...1c.2.64.psy-ab..0.0.0....0.SVZA8lYsUBs

Trump's 'Pocahontas' insult makes a mockery of Native Americans' diverse history

The Code Talkers have been honored by many American politicians in the last two decades, most notably with the presentation of Congressional Gold Medals (https://www.c-span.org/video/?316374-1/native-american-code-talkers-receive-congressional-gold-medal) to surviving soldiers and their families by member of the U.S. Congress in 2013.

My tribe, the Ho-Chunk Nation, sent a delegation including our President, Vice President and Traditional Chief, and I was proud to watch that presentation online, and to see the Code Talkers and their families.

President Bush also previously honored the Navajo Code Talkers in 2001 (https://www.archives.gov/publications/prologue/2001/winter/navajo-code-talkers.html); President Obama greeted several (http://www.gettyimages.ae/event/navajo-code-talkers-570498663#president-barack-obama-greets-native-american-members-of-the-navajo-picture-id157670530) after his 2012 speech to the Tribal Nations Conference (https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/the-press-office/2012/12/05/remarks-president-tribal-nations-conference).

Trump disrespected the very veterans he was supposed to be honoring, and reduced over 500 tribes to a caricature.

For one, after his inauguration, Trump hung a portrait (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/25/us/politics/president-trump-white-house.html?_r=0) of the architect of the Indian Removal Act, Andrew Jackson, in the Oval Office.

Jackson's legislation resulted in the removal of thousands of Native people from their homelands, including the removal of the Cherokee.

This event, which became known as the Trail of Tears (http://www.cherokee.org/About-The-Nation/History/Trail-of-Tears/A-Brief-History-of-the-Trail-of-Tears), resulted in 17,000 people being forcibly displaced and more than 5,000 dead (http://www.history.com/topics/native-american-history/trail-of-tears).

The portrait of the architect of this despicable period of American history hung directly behind the podium at which Trump and the Code Talkers stood on Monday, painfully visible to the cameras.

And that insult came before the program even began.

Who are you to decide what is "insulting to Native Americans". I can trace my ancestry back to Sa-Go-Ye-Wat-Ha, and Onondakai, all the way to Ots-Toch, who started that side of my family. I don't need you to tell me what I should find insulting.

Trump was not insulting Pocahontas. He was not insulting Indians. He was insulting Warren for claiming a heritage to which she has no right.

He does ? ... well lemme break it down for you ... you see, Pocahontas, born Matoaka or Amonute, was of the Eastern Algonquin tribes known as the Cree ... they didn't live in Teepees ... they lived in wigwam longhouses ... this is because they were long established for thousands of years ...

.. teepees were only common among nomadic tribes (of the great plains) because they were easy to setup and breakdown when on the move ...

... then notice the attire ... that is not Algonquin ... that is some rendition of Sioux ...

... then notice the axe ... the Algonquins didn't use axes they used spears and knives ... and the Tomahawk ... (coined from John Smith as tomahack because of sharpend stone edges on both sides) ...

No, Kalkins' imagery is pure prejudicial dumbski hackery because that's what Trumpf told 'em ... by the way, that looks like Palin ... LOL

Elizabeth Warren, Progressive Fraud

My favorite Elizabeth Warren story involves a cookbook. Warren, who was at that time posing as a trailblazing Cherokee, actually contributed recipes to a recipe book with the name, I kid you not, “Pow Wow Chow.” But here’s the best part of the story. She plagiarized some of the recipes. Yes indeed, her version of “pow wow chow” came directly from a famous French chef.

My second-favorite Warren story involves breastfeeding. She once claimed to be the first “nursing mother” to take the New Jersey bar exam, making her, I suppose, the Jackie Robinson of lactating lawyers. The problem? There’s no evidence this is true. Women have been taking the New Jersey bar since 1895, and the New Jersey Judiciary was “not aware” whether they tracked the nursing habits of test-takers.

Warren is a bit of an academic grifter. She’s willing to fake her way to the top. When she came to Harvard Law School, she was — believe it or not — considered by some to be a “minority hire.” She listed herself as a minority on a legal directory reviewed by deans and hiring committees. The University of Pennsylvania “listed her as a minority faculty member,” and she was touted after her hire at Harvard Law School as, yes, the school’s “first woman of color.”

This was no small thing. At the time, elite universities were under immense pressure to diversify their faculties (as they still are). “More women” was one command. “More women of color” was the ideal. At Harvard the pressure was so intense that students occupied the administration building, and the open spaces of the school were often filled with screaming, chanting students. One of the law school’s leading black academics, a professor named Derek Bell, left the school to protest the lack of diversity on campus.

I remember it vividly. I was there. I arrived on campus in the fall of 1991, just after Bell left, and liberal activists were seething with outrage. They were demanding new hires, and the place almost boiled over when the school granted tenure to four white men. My classmate, Hans Bader, notes that the school wasn’t just under political pressure to make a “diversity” hire, it was under legal pressure as well. The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination had issued a “probable cause finding” that the school had discriminated against a professor named Clare Dalton when it denied her tenure. In Bader’s words, “Harvard’s faculty badly wanted to racially and sexually diversify their ranks to show their commitment to diversity, so that MCAD would not view future denials of tenure to unqualified minorities and women as being motivated by a discriminatory animus.”

No one can know whether Warren would have landed at Harvard without faking her ethnicity (Harvard of course denies her alleged minority status was a factor), but we do know that she spent years holding herself out as a Native American. We do know those claims were extremely dubious. We also know that she made those claims exactly at the time when they could most help a young career.
