Seriously. Trump's ties to and sympathies for far right wing fringe groups scares your mighty bethere. How about you?
https://www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-us-canada-42166663
Donald Trump has retweeted three inflammatory videos from a British far-right group.
The first tweet from Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of Britain First, claims to show a Muslim migrant attacking a man on crutches.
This was followed by two more videos of people Ms Fransen claims to be Muslim.
Responding to Mr Trump's posts, UK Prime Minister Theresa May's official spokesman said it was "wrong for the president to have done this".
White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said Mrs May and other world leaders knew that "these are real threats that we have to talk about".
"Whether it's a real video, the threat is real," she said.
"I think it's important to talk about national security and national security threats. The president sees different things to be national security threats, and he sees having strong borders as being one of the things that helps protect people in this country from some real threats that we face."
Britain First was founded in 2011 by former members of the far-right British National Party (BNP).

Islam is not just a religion. It is a complete replacement for western modernity. Muslims should be disallowed by Amendment. Wherever there are Muslims we find Islamofascists and Islamonazis. Keep them out.
Meanwhile, don't let any more emigrate here.

Given British laws against hate speech, Trump might even have veered into dangerous territory if he still hopes to visit the country soon.
In May’s previous role as home minister, she added two Islamophobic American bloggers, Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer, to a list of “extremists” barred from travel to the country (https://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/06/27/american-declared-blogger-non-grata-in-u-k-for-anti-islam-crusade/), on the grounds that their presence could “foster hatred which might lead to inter-community violence in the U.K.”
That ban, imposed in 2013, was motivated by what the two bloggers had written about Muslims online and their plan to take part in a march in London organized by the virulently anti-Islam English Defence League.
In 2009, the Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders was denied entry to the U.K. (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2009/feb/12/far-right-dutch-mp-ban-islam)after the Home Office ruled that his anti-Muslim speeches could “threaten community harmony and therefore public safety.”
A lawmaker for the opposition Labour party, Chris Bryant, pointed out that May had also banned an American white supremacist, Matthew Heimbach, as recently as 2015, and should now consider banning Trump on the same grounds.

12-01-2017, 07:03 PM
Who is Britain First:
Britain First is a far-right and nationalist British political organisation formed in 2011 by former members of the British National Party (BNP). It was founded by Jim Dowson, an anti-abortion campaigner linked to Ulster loyalist groups in Northern Ireland. The organisation's leader is former BNP councillor Paul Golding, and its deputy leader is Jayda Fransen.
Britain First campaigns primarily against multiculturalism and what it sees as the Islamisation of the United Kingdom, and advocates the preservation of traditional British culture. It attracted attention by taking direct action such as protests outside homes of Islamic extremists, its "Christian patrols" and "invasions" of British mosques. It has been noted for its online activism.
The party's structure is similar to that of Ulster loyalist groups in Northern Ireland, insofar as the group has a political wing backed up by a paramilitary action force (named "Britain First Defence Force"). The action force's members assume titles such as "provost marshal", and a document written by Jim Dowson said that "I have lived in the worst trouble spots of Belfast; I have had high powered machine gun fire rip bricks from my house and have been injured by grenade attack. Sometimes we had to defend our homes from the traditional enemy, other times from the forces of the state, the police and army."
A number of sources have criticised Britain First on various grounds. Some sources have noted the openly militaristic and violent nature of the group, particularly in recruiting and training ex-soldiers, and unlawfully wearing political uniforms. Members of the group, including its founder Jim Dowson, have stated their desire for a religious war in the UK.
A 2014 report on the links between Britain First and terrorist organisations in Northern Ireland said that behind populist Facebook posts "lies a small but dangerous group of religious fundamentalists intent on starting a 'Holy war'".
In 2016, after the group held "Christian patrols" in a primarily Muslim area of Luton, all major Christian denominations and organisations in the UK rejected Britain First and its ideology. The group was accused of "hi-jacking the name of Jesus Christ to justify hatred and spread fear". That same year, a petition to the Home Office was launched urging a ban on the group.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britain_First#cite_note-72
This a group that is presently considered to be on the borderline of being a domestic terrorist organization in the UK. Regardless of your views on Islam or Muslim refugees, should any national leader be retweeting the utterances of potential domestic terrorists i.e. supporting subversion in the homelands of its allies? America's ability to address its own issues on the world stage is predicated on the support of its allies. Burning those bridges is not in America's best interests.

All I was saying is that sometimes the forum reminds me of the childish and insecure reactions you see among adolescents. Too overwrought for you?

And sometimes your emotional outbursts make you look very feminine.

Can you tell us what "terrorist" acts this group is responsible for? IOW, on exactly what basis should this group be compared to Ulster loyalists who are responsible for quite a number of murders?
If you read the Wiki link, there was one murder. Whatever. However, they are organizing themselves as a terror group. You don't create a paramilitary action force with passivism in mind. They are even advocating violent opposition. They want a war. That by definition makes them dangerous.

Not to mention you never called them terrorists.
I would call them provocateurs. Clearly they want violent reactions to further their cause.

Indeed they are looking for a reason to deploy. No doubt why the PM was unimpressed with a major foreign leader adding fuel to the fire. It hasn't been all that long since they put an end to the Irish troubles.

Yeah, whatever is right. So the answer would be that they haven't actually engaged in any terrorism and thus they really aren't like Ulster loyalists who in contrast are responsible for many acts of terrorism. You are merely afraid of this group and don't like what they stand for so you want them labelled "terrorists". Thank you for being so candid.

Why do they need a paramilitary group if their intention is to engage in a battle of words? Before the Ulster Loyalists began their terror campaign, they too developed an army. The organizational structure of Britain First is modelled after a terrorist organization. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Let's not forget that members of the group, including its founder Jim Dowson, have stated their desire for a religious war in the UK. Should the government of the UK ignore their stated goals and should they rejoice when a foreign leader haplessly endorses the message of such an organization?

You also ask why anyone needs a semi-automatic rifle and the answer is the same: it's none of your fucking business. Again, this group has not engaged in terrorism. They are not like Ulster loyalists. I'm sorry if you and this kook PM fear and hate those who do not accept your multicultural fantasy world but Europe is changing in ways you might not like. Muslims have been doing that for how long now? A "maybe" vs "certainly has and does" and the "maybe" is the main issue, for you.

https://www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-us-canada-42166663

May is just trying to keep tensions in the UK down, as there is a substantial Muslim population there!

The Brit politicians allowed their country to be invaded by a hostile Islamic fighting force. We need to arm and train the Free Brits so they can drive the Islamofascists and the mewling politicians into the ocean.
