Put the “fiscal cliff” negotiations on C-SPAN.

It does seem a lot of people would like to see this hashed out in the light of day.

The Republican proposal for trillions in cuts is good but they should have offered the soak the rich tax cuts just to take that demagoguery advantage away from Obama.

Norquist and his pledge is Seditious and Treasonous. Why should we listen to him? Jefferson rolls in his grave.

How is that?

These people have signed a sworn oath that contradicts their oath of office. And therefore, in fact, they do have mental reservations, and they do have purpose of evasion and they are not sincerely taking their oath of office.

If they persist in that, and if they are held to that by this outside person who is not a member of the government, then they are, in fact, breaking their oath of office and they are not serving what they swore to serve the American people.

Your claim was that "Norquist and his pledge is Seditious and Treasonous." Asked how's that, you speak of Congress.

But let's go with that digression, how are signers of the pledge Seditious and Treasonous? How does it violate their oath of office?

Man you're obtuse...

Congress people have signed an oath that contradicts their oath of office. In that oath they do so without mental reservations, and purpose of evasion.

Clearly they are violating their oath of office by signing that pledge.

Who do you THINK they should owe their allegiance to....?

And your ad hom unimpressively covers up your lack of having an argument to put forth for all you do is repeat your claim:

How so, nic, please explain.

Congresspeople take an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, and among the promises they make are to “bear true faith and allegiance” to it.

Pledging an oath to the U.S. government and pledging an oath to Grover Norquist can’t co-exist.

Why is that? How does their pledge violate their oath. So far all you're doing is repeating your claim.

(A) Congress took oath of office.
(B) Some made pledge.

Those are facts, undisputed, no need to keep repeating them.

Explain now if you will how (B) violate (A). Be specific.

Here is the pledge: http://www.atr.org/userfiles/Senate%20Pledge(2).pdf

It reads:

Taxpayer Protection Pledge
I, _____________, pledge to the taxpayers of the state
of _____________, and to the American people that I will:
ONE, oppose any and all efforts to increase the marginal income tax
rates for individuals and/or businesses; and
TWO, oppose any net reduction or elimination of deductions and
credits, unless matched dollar for dollar by further reducing tax rates.

How does that violate their oath to uphold the Constitution?

pledging an oath to Grover Norquist

There is no pledge to Norquist you twit. It is a pledge to the voters.

They have sworn a written oath to someone called Grover Norquist and an organization called Americans For Tax Reform, that they will under their own prescribed circumstances, and for their own reasons, not increase marginal income tax rates, reduce or eliminate deductions, unless matched dollar for dollar.

So they have taken an oath to an outside organization which is not supported by the U.S. Constitution – which gives Congress the right to levy taxes, to do the work of the people through the government – while this is a non governmental organization, not elected by anybody.

The oath:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Where do you see an oath to follow the whims of the majority? We don't have a democratic form of government, even the Constitution itself says a republican form. The oath is to represent them according to the Constitution.

Several parts of Obamacare were deemed unconstitutional by SCOTUS. Did Obama and Congress who voted for those commit sedition and treason?
