View Full Version : Trump showing more signs of dementia

Back in November, right after the New York attack trump gave a speech in which he seem even more confused than usual, repeatedly mispronouncing the word "diversity" and slurring his speech.

LINK (http://www.politicususa.com/2017/11/01/watch-deteriorating-trumps-speech-stumbles-mispronounces-words-cabinet-meeting.html)

People kinda ignored it but it happened again yesterday

LINK (http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/06/health/did-trump-slur-his-speech-bn/index.html)

Some folks are trying to pass it off as slipped dentures or something, well maybe but maybe not.

And then there's the water bottle moment.

LINK (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/trump-has-awkward-water-bottle-moment-tv-n821181)

That doesn't look normal either.

Have any of you compared video of him from the 90s to how he looks and speaks now? Back in the day he had a vocabulary of more than the 100 or so words he uses today, and didn't have the odd facial grimaces and verbal tics. Then you have the news articles that keep surfacing about the possibility of mental illness bases on his public behavior. I don't think he was healthy during the campaign, and it seems to be accelerating now.

I remember all the hysteria when Clinton fainted or got weak on the news at some even, and how the right here had a field day with all the speculation from brain tumor to exorcism gone wrong. Let's see how many will attack you for creating this thread....

Interesting you mentioned his slurred speech; just yesterday I noticed he was having some minor difficulty pronouncing a word or two but wrote it off as a fluke but now that you've provided some more information and incidents it could be some pattern of difficulty caused by dementia or slipped dentures (tho' I'd find it hard that the Donald wouldn't have implants as opposed to those pesky dentures) so you might be on to something.

In all fairness, you are correct; i've noticed Hillary showing signs of age (as most of us do over time) and its likewise reasonable to assume the same for other people since the body knows no political party and it is the truth of our existence on this planet.

The remaining question is: does it have such a negative impact on the person that they are unable to properly function in their positions (such as Pelosi showing up at a press conference with her wig on backwards or Trump addressing congress having left his dentures on his desk); while I'm no doctor or specialist I don't believe it is an issue at this point. Politics aside, both are obviously able to function in public. Just my opinion.

I don't think he is a good speaker at all. Unlike most politicians he's no wordsmith and he often misuses words. I think he works a lot and may be tired when he speaks. Add to that the people who hang on his every word just looking for something they can use to attack him or impugn his character. One thing that definitely sets him apart from an Obama or a Hillary Clinton is that you never hear him trying to sound like the people he speaks in front of. No fake southern accent. No talking like a preacher at a church rally, can I get an amen!

"My people are so smart. And you know what else they say about my people, the polls? They say I have the most loyal people. Did you ever see that? Where I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK? It's like incredible."

The polls say Trump has the most loyal people. And so Trump does. Despite a year's worth of lying, of fake news, and of parsing everything Trump says, President Trump is not only still standing. He still has his base.

What "unhinged nonsense"?
With all due respects, it's called the denial zone, of what some seem to have that they cannot let go of. It's denoted as trying to make something be that will not happen. It's been called "I Have a Dream", but that was already tried, as that never worked for much but push some emotionally unhinged buttons to strike out at everything regarded as Western. For the West has been used to promote deceptions and has paid a big price for it, as that is also a real relative known.

It is also a known that society is changing and for the purer streams. It is called calling unbridled nonsense out when all it tries for is to create further disruptions. It is stating that Mr. Obama and his supporters have no more room. It means they get to stop destroying what good was derived (at the least) from both the Greeks and Egyptians because they don't care how much they undermine something higher than themselves, while they have been personally profiting.
