Mueller's regard for the law continues to devolve as his desperation grows.

Another ILLEGAL OUTRAGE committed against Pres.Trump by the Witch Hunt, this time GOING AROUND the LEGAL PROCEDURES to obtain these records, and ILLEGALLY TAKING THEM FROM AN AGENCY NOT AUTHOROZED TO RELEASE THEM.

Special counsel obtains thousands of Trump transition emails

WASHINGTON Special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian contacts with President Donald Trump's campaign has gained access to thousands of emails sent and received by Trump officials before the start of his administration, according to several people familiar with Trump's transition organization.

But the investigators did not directly request the records from Trump's still-existing transition group, Trump for America, and instead obtained them from the General Services Administration, a separate federal agency that stored the material, according to those familiar with the Trump transition organization.

The tens of thousands of emails in question pertain to 13 senior Trump transition officials. Many of the emails that Mueller's investigators have now include national security discussions about possible Trump international aims as well as candid assessments of candidates for top government posts, said those familiar with the transition. They spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the records' sensitivity.

On Saturday, Kory Langhofer, general counsel for the transition group, sent a letter to two congressional committees arguing that the GSA had improperly provided the transition records to Mueller's investigators. In the letter to the Republican chairmen of the House Oversight and the Senate Homeland Security committees, Langhofer contends that the disclosure by GSA was "unauthorized," and it considers the documents private and privileged and not government property.

Yep. They said that. They probably still do, but we know better. We watched him die two weeks ago.

Conversely, while it is true that Trump's allies said 'that,' it in no way means that what they said is true.

It's a tremendous example of your flawed and defensive logic. I ask that you admit that the whole 'Mueller has nothing' litany is a joke. Mueller has EVERYTHING. He always did.

Face it. Mueller knew the answer to all questions before he asked them in almost all of these interviews. If I were you I'd be freaking out, too.

Key Officials Push Back Against Trump Campaign’s Claim That A Federal Office Illegally Turned Over Emails To Special Counsel

In an interview with BuzzFeed News, a senior lawyer with the General Services Administration disputed the Trump campaign's assertions about the decision to turn over emails written during the presidential transition to Robert Mueller's investigation. The Special Counsel's Office pushed back as well. In a phone interview with BuzzFeed News on Saturday night, Loewentritt — whose LinkedIn represents that he has worked at the agency since 1972 — disputed the claims made in the letter sent by the Trump campaign."Beckler never made that commitment," he said of the claim that any requests for transition records would be routed to the Trump campaign's counsel. Specifically, Loewentritt said, "in using our devices," transition team members were informed that materials "would not be held back in any law enforcement" actions.

Asked about Langhofer's letter and Loewentritt's statements — and after publication of this story — a spokesperson for the Special Counsel's Office, Peter Carr, told BuzzFeed News, “When we have obtained emails in the course of our ongoing criminal investigation, we have secured either the account owner’s consent or appropriate criminal process.”

Flake is a rwnj, too. He just looks reasonable compared to Trump's personality. He's a tea party guy. He might be to the right of even you.

Mueller is a Republican, named by a Republican who was appointed by Trump and confirmed by the gop in the senate.

My out of power party had nothing to do with it.

Why do you assume that the investigation is about trump?

A majority of Americans voted for someone other than Trump. It is unlikely that you could hire a staff that didn't reflect that reality.

Mueller himself found an evil doer just last week and had him professionally executed because he was a Democrat.

You guys really are running out of arguments.

So Mueller received these emails in September. Flynn's plea was Dec. 1. Mueller's team would have read through them before dealing a plea on nothing more than a process charge on Flynn. Whether or not the acquisition was legal or not doesn't seem matter, apparently there's no there there.

If Mueller charged him with more he would have exposed what prosecution has on the record through discovery. He reserved his right to expand on that if Flynn doesn't cooperate. Mueller's not stupid.

Mueller's not stupid.Flynn is a bought witness, therefore tainted. A "bought" witness knows that the "better" his testimony, the sweeter the deal he will get. That's why prosecutors postpone the sentencing until after the witness has testified, Flynn accepted the plea deal. You only "rent" bought witnesses for as long as you have the sword of Damocles hanging over them. Flynn already has his deal.

Thanks for the much-needed dose of sanity and reality, B-man. You are, of course and unfortunately, wasting your breath, so to speak, in addressing Trump's little legion of Lewinskys. Trump could be caught buggering a five-year-old in a White House broom closet and millions would look for a way to spin it into some "deep state" conspiracy. Facts mean nothing to them - just their own pathetic agenda and imaginations. They are becoming increasingly not worth the time and bandwidth to address their little outrages and tantrums.

One being, Flynn's got the goods on Trump and the plea deal, assuming Flynn doesn't back out, keeps his son and himself out of more serious jeoparty. Or a more likely scenario, Flynn's mounting legal fees are bankrupting his family so he pleas to a process crime instead of fighting on toward exoneration.

There was obviously incriminating evidence on Clinton's private server, otherwise she wouldn't have destroyed it. They could not prove that her computer was hacked because she bleached the hard drive, deleting e-mails, destroyed her computer.

The investigation is focusing on if Trump made any attempts to get his hands on her e-mails while ignoring the fact of what Clinton did to hide her criminal activities. What has our society come too where we attack the person trying to uncover the corruption and allow the person doing it to get no criminal charges? Whistle blowers should be supported and encouraged to come forward if we want to think of ourselves as people with integrity and have morals.

For Russia to make a large donation to the Clinton Foundation on the uranium deal, there had to be e-mails back and forth between Russia and Clinton. Of course, we will never see those e-mails since she destroyed them. I find it truly disgusting that half of the population that obviously do not live their lives with integrity and morals because if they did they would see Clinton for what she is, a power driven individual that will lie, cheat and do anything it takes to keep her position.

The intense emotional hatred towards Trump from the media clearly shows them to be anti-American. Everything Trump has done so far is that for the first time we have a President who is honoring his campaign promises. All those promises is what most Americans wanted in changes and deep down those anti-Trump haters someday are going to have to admit that to themselves.

The problem is, Cap, that when Trump does, accidentally, do something that I agree with, he spoils it by going on Twitter the next day and acting like a silly, vindictive middle school girl with a bug up her butt, or saying something incredibly dumb and clueless, or lying in a way so obvious even the average bright ten-year-old could spot it. He is, in all probability, the stupidest individual ever to hold the office, and he seems to be almost consciously motivated to prove it on a daily basis. It is often said that the hardest person to tolerate is the dumb person who isn't even smart enough to know how truly dumb he is, and that's Trump in a nutshell. Whenever he begins a sentence with the words, "A lot of people don't know..." it is usually prefacing something that anyone who finished the eighth grade knows very well. The man has no inkling how below the curve he truly is, and he is isolated by his handlers from the consequences of his own ignorance.
