Senator Thad Cochran, a Republican from Mississippi, says that he will be resigning from his position April 1st.
In his statement, Cochran says that he is stepping away due to health reasons. He was first elected to the Senate in 1978.

No change for now. No hange after the special election as long as a Moore stays out.
