The US Office of Special Counsel announced Tuesday that White House aide Kellyanne Conway violated the Hatch Act on two occasions by "advocating for and against candidates" in last year's Alabama Senate special election.

In a new report (http://cdn.cnn.com/cnn/2018/images/03/06/conway.ha-18-0966.final.report.pdf), the OSC special counsel, Henry Kerner, pointed to Conway's TV interviews conducted in her "official capacity" in November and December of last year. The agency said Conway "impermissibly mixed official government business with political views about candidates in the Alabama special election."

In a letter (https://osc.gov/Resources/Conway%20HA-18-0966%20Final%20Report.pdf) to President Donald Trump, Kerner said he is referring her violations for the President's "consideration of appropriate disciplinary action.".....snip~

Ah.....the Desperation of the Never Trumpers is pathetic. Since they can't hook Trump up for anything. Its now back to going after Trumps Staff. For anything and everything. Despite the Hatch Act being weak in itself with a broad definition, and no one ever being convicted of it. The Mope Kerner knows he can't take it into court and win. So he gives it to Trump for disciplining Kellyanne.

Trump should give her a couple days off without pay. Or he could call MMC and ask that I discipline Kellyanne.

The U.S. Office of Special Counsel is charging that White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway has violated the Hatch Act after appearing to publicly endorse a Senate candidate last year.

The office is pointing to two questionable appearances Conway made on Fox News and CNN last year in which she urged voters in the Alabama Senate election to support Republican Roy Moore over Democrat Doug Jones. Under the Hatch Act, federal employees are prohibited from engaging in partisan politics.

The office has recommended Conway to President Trump, who will decide if her behavior demands disciplinary action......snip~

Kerner was appointed by Trump. After working for the Oversight Committee/Darryl Issa and Chaffetz.....and before that Johnny Quest McCain. Now Trump needs to send Kerner packing for breaking out his Never Trumper card.

Read the Hatch Act changes in 1993. she can do what she did.Don't believe so; ............. *Federal employees are still forbidden to use their authority to affect the results of an election. They are also forbidden to run for office in a partisan election, to solicit or receive political contributions, and to engage in political activities while on duty or on federal property.* ................ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatch_Act_of_1939 ...............At a minimum she was on the WH grounds.

One would think the silly anti-Trumpers would have figured out by now that Trump is legitimate and will stay in office. Lord, they're stupid to continue this boring rhetoric.

Didn't stop the Demos during the Peeps time in Office. It was a slow weekend for the Never Trumpers and the leftness. Since they don't know shit about Trade, and they couldn't jump on anything else Trump said.
