Everyone has biases.

Everyone has biases.

True, but only the most idiotic of idiots would use anything in the extreme lower left or right of the chart. Or middle, for that matter. Who do you cite?

Everyone has biases.
Indeed. Only an idiot would ask such a question.

If you agree everyone has biases, then there is not middling position. It's not a bell curve but a horseshoe.

I rely on multiple, independent sources, like any reasonable individual would.

That means I read a mixture of almost everything in order to obtain the largest picture possible.

Then I examine the picture using logic and critical thinking.

I love how Time and The Economist are in the middle. Those are two intensely ideological magazines.

If you move the center of the bell curve 1.5 columns to the left we could agree. I would vertically smear the new agencies.

That and they are all slow to report things. I look for independent sources. I mean you have a man as we speak that has barricaded himself in the San Joaquin General Hospital in Cal. It's been going on for a while now, almost an hour.

CNN is the one that stands out for me.

Here's the source for the chart: http://www.allgeneralizationsarefalse.com/.

It was done by Vanessa.

She develops some nice categories as metrics. Then without explanation puts news media sources in those categories. Just her opinion.

The name of her blog is "All Generalizations are False."

I posted that and got pretty much ignored, maybe you will have enough better luck. I suspect that problem is where it places fox and the daily caller.

No, it's just that you tend to be ignored. It's because you're so smart. LOL

Right, that's why I have 30 or 40 "quote notification" pms (including many fromyou)every time I'm gone for a few hours.
Try again.

I just laugh at you, Crepitus. No one takes you seriously. No one. Well...maybe Bo-4 LOL

Yea, right, CNN is neutral, lol.

My main complain is someone named Vanessa put together this elaborate chart and then based solely on her opinion place news media sources. No rhyme, no reason.

It’s quite hilarious to see CNN listed in the “minimal bias” category. That alone should shred the credibility of this.

Yeah, I said that too. CNN just isn't all that professional anymore.

Then they have Fox News listed as "nonsense and damaging to public discourse".

This entire graph is partisan nonsense and damaging to public discourse.

Much of my news comes from tPF. And all of my editorial commentary consumption too. I'm messed-up because of it.

But at least tPF is completely unbiased. :angel12:
