I bought an EVGA 1080gtx FTW2, a month ago the card was close to 2,000 all the bit coin miners were sucking all the vid cards up.

I bought this for 629.00 and a 70.00 gift card, thats an extraodinary deal "right now" for that card, if not the fastest out there its damn close

You can buy it all over for $650. I guess if you are into "games" it might be worth it.

High-end photography requires a high-end video card...gaming isn't the only reason to have a decent vid card.
You also need a good card for video processing.
