So now, Americans can have even MORE OF THEIR OWN MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS, as opposed to the Illegals over Americans, Take Back Your Tax Cuts, Pro-Iranian, Pro-North Korean, Defenders of MS13 democrats.

BRILLIANT!!!

Yeah...I'm really liking the GOP's odds in November; I think they'll do better in this Midterm than they did the LAST first-term Republican POTUS midterm in 2002..."broke the tradition" of the majority party losing seats in the first midterm.

I think the GOP will GAIN SEATS in the House, and absolutely DOMINATE the Senate elections.

Trump, once again, plays chess while the TDS left plays tiddley winks....

Trump says he will propose new tax cuts prior to November

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he will propose new tax cuts sometime prior to November, when Republicans look to retain their control of the U.S. Congress in midterm elections.

Trump said he would meet with Republican Representative Kevin Brady, chairman of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, about the proposal. He did not give any details.
"We're going to be submitting additional tax cuts sometime prior to November," Trump said in a speech to the Susan B. Anthony List, an anti-abortion group.

Trump signed a $1.5 trillion tax cut in December, the signature legislative achievement of his presidency.

The economy has been a bright spot for Republicans as they face voters in November, with unemployment dropping to a near 17-1/2-year low.

We have a spending problem, not a tax revenue problem.

Russia and several Eastern European nations slashed they taxes, and created flat taxes, and all had significant growth in tax revenue. I will post an article (tonight or tomorrow) about that being an option for Italy's new populist government.

This the talking point heard on tv response to the tax cuts. Our latest by our friends to the north, a nation with a corporate tax cut of 15% Yes.....our current tax on corporations....was 33%....and we had Canadians weighing in.....again...theirs at 15%.....our proposal was 21 or 22%...and they were screaming about the rich getting richer.
Spunkloaf…...divvy up he tax cut, there was a corporate and an individual tax cut. Your 401k got a larger rate of return. The economy and industry resulting in lower unemployment.....yer riding a deaf horse on a wrong way path, where do you get your information? Who do use for source work?

You made more than last year so you paid more in taxes than last year.

Welcome to the World.

That's the way it works. If you pay 10 Cents on the Dollar and make 1 Dollar, you will pay 10 Cents. If you make 2 Dollars the following year, it will cost you 20 Cents.

These aren't tax breaks for the people who need them, they are tax breaks for the wealthiest. That is, the people who are already figuring out how to avoid paying taxes.
The individual income tax is designed to be progressive – those with higher incomes pay at higher rates. A Pew Research Center analysis of IRS data from 2015, the most recent available, shows that taxpayers with incomes of $200,000 or more paid well over half (58.8%) of federal income taxes, though they accounted for only 4.5% of all returns filed (6.8% of all taxable returns).
By contrast, taxpayers with incomes below $30,000 filed nearly 44% of all returns but paid just 1.4% of all federal income tax – in fact, two-thirds of the nearly 66 million returns filed by people in that lowest income tier owed no tax at all. http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/10/06/a-closer-look-at-who-does-and-doesnt-pay-u-s-income-tax/

The top 1 percent of income earners, those having an adjusted annual gross income of $480,930 or higher, pay about 39 percent of federal income taxes. That means about 892,000 Americans are stuck with paying 39 percent of all federal taxes.

The top 10 percent of income earners, those having an adjusted gross income over $138,031, pay about 70.6 percent (https://tinyurl.com/yddvee2o) of federal income taxes.
So to sum that up bout 1.7 million Americans, less than 1 percent of our population, pay 70.6 percent of federal income taxes. Is that fair, or do you think they should pay more?

I have a different philosophy about "income taxes" The ability to tax is the ability to destroy. It makes the Citizen subject to a central power. That, in and of itself, is a contradiction of Natural Rights. Our BoR is based on Natural Rights.
Mandatory taxation is subtle slavery................and socialistic
In the beginning, the government was small because the only method for revenue was import and export duties and a tax on all whiskey. It was intended, IMO, to keep it small and confined. But we still had to finance wars. So a tax was established to pay for that war and only that war. In some states, it was voluntary. Then the 16th A was passed. Regardless of the theories, it was passed in the dead of night. An archaic ruling from SCOTUS on the matter declared that a workingman's wages shall not be taxed.
So they had to figure a way to get into our pockets and we were in a war in no time, running up the war debt. Before we got that one paid off, we were in another war, and another war, and........
We've become so accustomed to being taxed, we readily accept the illogical arguments for supporting a taxed society.
"It's for the children." "It's the right thing to do." "We have it to spare."
I could go on, but if you think about it, I'm right. The civil war freed no one. It made us slaves to a central government to which we pay tribute.
Oh, I almost forgot...don't we have an official War on Drugs?
