Rep. Jim Jordan has been accused of ignoring allegations of sexual abuse while he was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State University.

Jordan has been accused by a former Ohio State University wrestler of knowingly ignoring sexual abuse allegations.

Jordan has yet to respond to the allegations according to officials investigating the claim.


WASHINGTON — A former Ohio State wrestler has accused Rep. Jim Jordan — one of the most powerful conservatives in Congress — of knowingly ignoring sexual abuse allegations while Jordan was a wrestling coach at Ohio State University.

Jordan has been contacted by officials investigating the abuse allegations but he has not yet responded, according to a spokeswoman for the law firm representing Ohio State.

“The investigative team had previously contacted Rep. Jordan’s office by email and phone to request that he participate in an interview. To date, Rep. Jordan has not responded to those requests,” said Kathleen M. Trafford, the spokeswoman for Porter Wright Morris & Arthur.

The firm was appointed by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to serve as legal counsel for Ohio State.

Interesting that someone makes these allegations right after Jordan took the lead in raping Rosenstein at a congressional hearing. Either way if hes guilty he needs to pay the price. People in positions of authority over others have a duty to protect them from harm and abuse, If he knowingly didnt do that then when its proven he takes the consequences.
