I think the lefts attacks on Dershewitz have finally pissed him off. He has been called and considered and believed to be a left wing loon by the right for DECADES.
I think Dershewitz is joining other liberals in realizing this new democrat party isnt liberal they are socialist open border morons

Harvard Law professor and Fox News contributor Alan Dershowitz said Tuesday he hopes President Trump nominates a “true conservative” to the Supreme Court in order to help broaden Trump’s base and unite the country.
“I hope [Trump] is looking for [a] libertarian conservative, a true conservative, who elevates the rights of individual over the power of government,” Dershowitz told "Fox and Friends." “A true conservative also respects precedent, doesn't come to the court with an agenda, with a list of issues he wants to see change.”

Dershowitz also said Trump can be expected to choose someone not only based in part on recommendation, but also mostly on his own personal interaction with those individuals.
Fox News hosts told Dershowitz that many Democrats were against Amy Coney Barrett, who Trump met with on Monday and is one of the top names he is considering for nomination because of her religious beliefs that they feel could lead her to overturn Roe v. Wade.
“Well, you know the Constitution says no religious test shall ever be required for any office under the United States. It would be unconstitutional and immoral to take into account negatively a person's religious views,” Dershowitz said.

Justice Anthony Kennedy announced last month (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/courts/justice-anthony-kennedy-to-retire-from-supreme-court) that he will retire from the Supreme Court at the end of July after serving for 30 years. His vacancy allows Trump to nominate the second Supreme Court justice of his presidency.
However, Democrats have said they will attempt to block Trump’s nominee until after the 2018 midterm elections in November, when they hope to gain back the majority in Congress so they can have more control over who is confirmed.

A true conservative huh? What would that person be you must wonder? If we already know what a judge would decide does that make them a conservative or an ideologue? If a judge can rule what a women can do in her own life is that conservative? If a judge can make a corporation a person does that make them conservative? If a judge can rule separate but equal is moral does that make them a conservative? It may in the minds of those who want to control another but it is hardly conservative as no one really knows what conservative means in a society that presumes to honor personal freedom.

Kennedy retiring before the midterms is an act of pure perniciousness. Trump's base pretends to love unborn children while its actions hurt living children. Trump cares nada for either. The rich women will find someone, always have, the poor again will suffer from a conservative scotus - in many ways. "Few American institutions have inflicted greater suffering on ordinary people than the Supreme Court of the United States. Since its inception, the justices of the Supreme Court have shaped a nation where children toiled in coal mines, where Americans could be forced into camps because of their race, and where a woman could be sterilized against her will by state law."

I don’t think one can automatically assume rulings. Look at Roberts on Ocare. Look at Kennedy on several issues appointed by Reagan. It doesn’t surprise me what AD says. He is a liberal by all means but a libertarian. So him wanting things ruled the way they are suppose to be is not a surprise.

Your abortion argument made black and white has zero context. Abortion is not going anywhere despite the BS being used to raise money by the left. BTW the #1 issue on the left over the years to raise money is abortion. So there ya go, everything has a motive. If you don’t think there is more to a woman choosing to terminate a heart beat then you are now the science denier you often scream about. It is more settled science than Global Warming. I say this as a reluctant supporter of abortion. This also doesn’t mention it just moves back to the states. 99% wouldn’t end it.

Kennedy is no disgrace and you posting that he is makes you the disgrace. You are led around by your nose by nimrods without 1 original thought.

Dershowitz answered that in the OP: “I hope [Trump] is looking for [a] libertarian conservative, a true conservative, who elevates the rights of individual over the power of government,” Dershowitz told "Fox and Friends." “A true conservative also respects precedent, doesn't come to the court with an agenda, with a list of issues he wants to see change.”

Your reframing post had absolutely nothing to do with the topic.

Yeah I am the wrong one. Just ignore what happened with “your” voters in 2016. BTW dipstick, I don’t parrot unlike you with never an original thought in your life.

Go read some of Elena’s or the Wise Latina’s Opinions and then we will talk about an ideologue. I have.
