Sean Hannity’s TV ratings are dropping like flies, and the problem was significant after the 2012 election, which could spell an end to its popularity and as a conservative talk show on Fox News.

The Hannity show lost several viewers after Mitt Romney lost the election to Barack Obama.

While the decline in viewership was normally expected following a campaign year for both the Democrats and Republicans, the drop was about 50 percent and may be more steep than what was initially projected, suggesting that viewership could be a free-fall.

The ratings have yet to bounce back and many say that it may have everything to do with attitudes of the host and their guests.

“Before the election, Hannity was riding high in the ratings and topped thought leaders on the right, like Dick Morris, Ann Coulter, Peggy Noonan and talk radio bulldog Mark Levin, who predicted Obama would lose in a landslide,” the New York Daily News reported. As they say, all good things must come to an end.

The Hannity show could follow the same exit as Glenn Beck, when Beck’s TV viewership continued to drop.

I just got tired of hearing the same kind of stuff everyday. I mean, I'm a devout Conservative, and he STILL wore me out.

On air personalities come and go. It is just the way it goes.

I notece that the liberals are not so concerned over the declining rating of current tv

But my hats off to Time Warner. For not supporting a terroist sympathizer network

Just curious but has Hannity dropped below Ed Schultz, Chris Mathews, or Rachel Maddow? Here's a link to show you the ratings.

Hannity -- 1740-357-703
Maddow-- 1189-334-590
Those to are in the same time slot so they are direct competitors. Rachel actually gets close to Hannity in the young adult category.
Ed Schultz-- 948-211-406
Chris Mathews-- 785-223-368
Crazy Ed and Tingly-Leg Mathews would be an embarrassment to a normal person but being embarrassed requires a sense of responsibility which those on the left don't have.

The really strong demographic group for the Democrats of 12 to 19 would be included in the first figure which is 2 years old and older.

If you go through and compare competition in the news slots day by day it gets even more embarrassing.

It's a shame Cigar is incapable of understanding a reality check. He best sticking with cartoons where he doesn't have to deal with pesky words and numbers. He obviously can't spell, or use a spell checker, but his grasp of numbers is no better. Sadly, there is no number checker for Cigar anyway.
