The Democratic Party’s New Motto Same As A Used Car Dealership, Personal Injury Law Firm
Joe Simonson

House Democrats revealed their new slogan for the upcoming 2018 elections, but whoever was behind it probably forgot to check that it’s identical to the one used by a used car dealership in Texas and a personal injury law firm in Florida.
The motto, “For the People,” debuted at a private meeting with members Wednesday, according to Politico (https://www.politico.com/story/2018/07/18/house-democrats-midterms-campaign-slogan-730907).

Yet Democrats probably won’t like to know that their new message for American voters is the same used by some of the sleaziest businesses in the country, namely used car dealers and ambulance chasers.
Forthepeople.com (https://www.forthepeople.com/) is currently registered by Morgan & Morgan, a “leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful” ran out of Orlando.

Elder Mitsubishi (https://www.eldermitsubishi.com/our-story.html), owned by Scott Elder in Austin, declared itself the “car dealer ‘For the People'” in 2011. Check out its TV ad below.

The new motto represents the Democratic Party’s fourth new message in the 2018 election cycle.

Initially, House Democrats went with a “Better Deal (https://www.apnews.com/2eae70af198e4e03b9d42d6b8468c7cd),” before flipping the motto back onto President Donald Trump by branding him as “Self-Dealing (https://www.apnews.com/2eae70af198e4e03b9d42d6b8468c7cd).”
Continuing the focus on the president, the Democrats then went with “draining the swamp (http://thehill.com/homenews/house/388699-dems-expand-2018-message-to-draining-the-swamp),” before eventually now settling on “For the People.”

They mean for the illegal people, not US citizens.

Used against Nixon in 1960.

Morgan and Morgan have been using "For The People" for the last 30 years. I wonder if they will sue the Democrats for copyright infringement. They are a highly successful law firm and I doubt they would want to antagonize any potential clients by seeming to endorse one party over another.

Used against Nixon in 1960.

Goes along with the general lack of vision and original thinking permeating the Democratic Party.

Used against Nixon in 1960.

I couldn't have bought a used car from Nixon in 1960. I wasn't on the planet yet. Though my soul might have been if one believes that souls are transferred from one living organism to another.
