View Full Version : Trump's Approval Rating Improves; Democrats Won't Like One Big Reason Why

July was a rough month for President Donald Trump in the headlines – illegal immigrant family separations, Hollywood-launched offensives against the president, massive protests, and "overly friendly" meetings with both North Korea and Russia. But maybe it was not as bad as the media portrayed portrayed it: Trump’s approval is at 48%, higher than President Barack Obama at the same time in office, Rasmussen (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/current_events/politics/prez_track_aug02) reported Friday.

How's that possible? Well, Democrats probably won't like what appears to be one key reason for Trump's improved polling number.

A largely under-reported Harvard/Harris Poll (http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/394384-poll-trump-approval-rating-ticks-up-to-47-percent) published last week found that Hispanic support of Trump has improved by 10 points, spoiling assumptions about group identity.

In a world where the prevailing rhetoric of the Left is that Trump is anti-immigrant, the data "suggests that Hispanics may not be the entrenched liberal voting constituency that Democrats so often imagine," wrote The Washington Times (https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/jul/31/good-news-for-the-gop-hispanics-are-boosting-trump/)' Stewart Lawrence.

Furthermore, in the critical swing-state of Florida, GOP Gov. Rick Scott is surpassing his Democratic opponent among Hispanics in the senatorial race, according to a recent Mason-Dixon (https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/T51-Pregunta-Poll-Questions-487812041.html) poll. But why would Trump and Republicans be seeing a significant upswing in Hispanic support?

"Hispanics, like most mainstream voters, are waking up to post-2016 America. Unemployment among Hispanics has fallen to its lowest level in decades, and there’s little doubt that Mr. Trump’s pro-business policies are the reason," Lawrence wrote.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (https://www.bls.gov/cps/cpsaat18.htm), while Hispanics constitute 18% (http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/09/18/how-the-u-s-hispanic-population-is-changing/) of the national population, they represent almost 30% of the U.S. construction workforce. Why is this important? Because Trump's $1 billion infrastructure plan will undoubtedly lift up a significant percentage of the Hispanic community, providing jobs that will rebuild our nation's dilapidated airports, aging bridges, and pot-holed roads.

The mainstream media and the Left may attempt to promote the notion of monolithic Latino support for the Democratic Party, but as the data demonstrate, not all Latinos hold the same views of president and the GOP.

Yep.....Hispanics, Latinos, Blacks, Blue Dog Demos all giving more support to Trump.

Plus now the Demos and their Cult following are losing more people with # Walkaway.

Yet the Lame Stream is doing all they can to make it seem like the Demos still have a Blue Wave. Of course they are hoping on History for the Mid Terms. Not reality taking place.

I still have to believe sadly that the GOP is going to take a severe beating in the midterms. Not so much because of unpopularity but because the violent resistance has more motivation <hatred> and will vote in greater numbers. Thats not counting illegal immigrant votes and those not eligible

The Demos have no chance with the Senate.....and they will come close in the House but will still be down by like 3-5seats.

If you noticed.....the Demos and their Lame Stream keep moving the Goalposts with the Special Elections and Primaries. Remember they were even out talking about taking Seats in Texas and they would beat Ted Cruz.

Texas showed them their reality. Hence now they are saying if the 12th in Ohio goes Demo, they will have their blue wave.

Although it is now more of the Lame Stream talking than Demos themselves. That is with the Lame Stream knowing exactly why people are bailing on their precious Demos.

Hispanic unemployment again hits new record low in July

Unemployment for Hispanic workers again plumbed a new record low in July, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.

Unemployment for minorities has fallen to historical lows as the jobs recovery has extended into a ninth year. The recovery has also benefited other groups who typically are at the margins of the economy. For example, jobless rates for high school dropouts also hit (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/economy/unemployment-for-high-school-dropouts-falls-to-record-low-in-july) a record low in July.

The unemployment rate for Hispanic or Latino workers fell to 4.5 percent in the month, lower than the previous record of 4.6 percent that was set just the month before.....snip~

The elections will make the difference for the next twi years, hopefully people will vote to keep the good times rolling. One quarter of the recovery gain so far is under Trump ang growing stronger.

And that is what Trump is harping on at his rallies. That people have to get out and vote or the Demos will turn back all that has been done.

Good news is.....Trump is polling higher in States than National Polling averages. The Russian BS and talk of Impeaching Trump is working for Repubs. They need to up the Pressure and once the Repubs confirm Kavanaugh it will put a lot of the leftness into Depression.

The more the Cult of Leftness is depressed, the better it is for the country. The less of them out and voting.

Do the country a solid and Cause a leftist to go into depression.

If the Repubs and those on the Right work in a concentrated effort.....we may even be able to cause the Left to go out and commit mass suicide. Which would be a win win for the Country.

Say what.....and you think they are supporting Trump. Tell us how that works. Lets see....we are illegals and Trump is deporting illegals. So we will support Trump. (Duh!)

You know Strangelove.....you keep this up and you will be a outstanding example as to why the leftness shouldn't be allowed to vote. Just sayin.

Remember Obama's favorable numbers were up when his protégé/hand picked successor was handed her ass on a plate.
