You aren't everybody. When, and if, I go to Midnight Mass, I am thinking about the birth of Jesus Christ. The Golden Calf is OT. If that's what Christmas means to you that's your business. Don't tell me what it is to me.
Merry Christmas, Grinch.

Umm - During the reign of the Constantine the Great (AD 306–337), Christianity became the dominant religion of the Roman Empire.

In 313, Constantine and Licinius issued the Edict of Milan decriminalizing Christian worship. The emperor became a great patron of the Church and set a precedent for the position of the Christian emperor within the Church and the notion of orthodoxy, Christendom, ecumenical councils, and the state church of the Roman Empire declared by edict in 380.
Correct, already established that, and neither are you.
I already said that it's not this for some individuals but pull out of that viewpoint for a minute. If society as a whole were going to midnight mass like you, would 99% of what we are exposed too now for months before 12/25 be BUY BUY BUY?
Or would it be more about the birth of Christ?
Or even a little more, like... start easy, 5% more say?
Hell, PC and capitalism has basically forbidden the words "Christ" and "Christmas" in what they propaganda us with.
So tell me again how society is a Christian nation in this sense. Look at Islam however you wish but do you see Islam bastardizing their deeply religious days with trash like we do?
