The fact that our president even entertains the insults and contributes to them is embarrassing and hurts our credibility as a world leader in my opinion. He needs to remember that he is representing the people of the US and the office of the presidency and not the lowest common denominator.

I would say he is representing the American people who have never had much of a history of turning the other check.
