How many times does it have to be pointed out that characters in movies have always had romantic - and, to the extent permissible by the censors and social mores of the time, sexual - interests and entanglements before it penetrates your understanding? Did Errol Flynn ever play a guy who was totally disinterested in the ladies? Ever hear of Mae West? It only seems to bother certain people now because it's okay with the movie makers - along with the great majority of filmgoers - if a character occasionally plays for the other team, as they say.
I'm not seeing the movie unless Thor is Bi, a fecalfeliac and does bi-racial three-ways.
How long until characters are required to declare political leanings? Will the good guys always be democrats and the bad guys republican?
A better question might be why is romance linked to sex anymore. It used to be more suggestive.
