It's fair to say that the billboard artist Godwined herself on one level for invoking (not using!) that meme. The symbols do indeed remind one of Swastikas. But in real terms she did not Godwin herself. Why? Because she started that particular argument! "Godwining a thread" refers, I believe, to jacking a non-Hitler, non-Nazis thread by inserting comments that bring up Hitler and Nazis.
By Pickle's estimate, any book about Nazis or Hitler is automatically a Godwin. It does not work that way.
By the same token, extension of the same logic, the OP - which merely referenced the article (which I've already show is not a Godwin) - didn't Godwin, either.

When out walking, look out for PROBlems. You know: maskless Plague Rats On Bicycles who blow past you without giving you time to get out of the way.
Ah, CONServatives, the Masters of Projection (MOPs). With CONServatives, every accusation is a confession. Weird, that.

Godwin's law (or Godwin's rule of Hitler analogies)[1][2] is an Internet adage which asserts that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Hitler approaches 1"[2][3]*—*that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler.
Comparing Hitler to Trump is not only disingenuous, fits Godwin's law to a T but also does a disservice to all of those who suffered under Hitler's reign.
I find your lack of faith...disturbing...

All of these things like "Godwin's Law" and the various "logical fallacies" that people cry about are nothing more than just excuses used by people who are not ready for a discussion to get out of it.
